Kate came highly recommended by a friend and she lived up to every expectation.  My son, who is shy and reserved, clicked right away with Kate.  He felt his sessions with her were helpful.  When his test scores came in, it was confirmed that, in fact, it was worth it! Kate's Tutoring was perfect for our family. We saw Kate for standardized test prep help. I felt like Kate really " got" my 7th grade daughter and understood her needs. My daughter liked her very much and said that the sessions were extremely beneficial.  Kate was also very helpful in explaining the particular test my daughter was scheduled to take; and she was open and honest when it came to what she thought my daughter needed even when it meant we would require as many sessions as we had planned on. I can't recommend Kate enough. She helped my daughter improve her ACT score after seeing no improvement with a large test prep company. She knows these tests inside and out and had great strategies for the individual challenges my daughter was facing. Great experience with Kate. My son brought his ACT scores up by 4 points. She has great strategies, tips and tricks for all sections of the test.
