What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The secret to a great photograph is two parts. The first part is establishing a connection and making the subject feel at ease. I am a down to earth person, and feel I have this skill naturally. The second part is knowing your equipment and environment. I feel my 10 years experience has given me an awareness of the environment and how harsh the south Florida sun can be. With my professional equipment, I am able to capture the client in their best light!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What do you need the photos for? I always ask this question. This leads me to understand the type of photo they need. If it's a party, I ask who is important besides who the party is for. And lastly, I ask if they prefer indoors or outdoors. 95% of the time, people love outdoors. There's something really special about where we live, most people call it paradise. I will give you a shot taken in paradise, if that's what you want.
What do you love most about your job?
I love seeing the joy and/or love on people's faces. I also enjoy seeing and hearing how much they enjoy their photos. When I first started my career, I would take photos of buildings and nature. And my photos helped win awards for the architects. So being a people photographer just sent me to another level with the happiness professional photography brings to people's lives. Your memories will remain forever!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Seeing other women in the field of photography has been my inspiration. There's a unique quality that women bring to photography, a sensitivity to the whole art of photography. I bring that to the table because that's what inspires me.
Why should our clients choose you?
Clients should choose me because I am passionate about what I do. If something isn't right, I will re-take the photos at my expense. Clients should also choose me based on my experience. I have years of experience with people, family and children. That makes a good recipe for success!
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
If clients are anxious or worried about COVID-19, I will wear a mask. Please ask for this added level of service.
Newborn Photo Shoot
Newborn special - $150. To new Moms, an in-studio shoot with free 8x10 print and one download.
Family Portrait - Indoors or Outdoors
Indoors or at my studio. All the images I capture, viewable with days of the shoot in a private online gallery and downloadable. Cost is $250.
Wedding Photography
Your wedding, my lens! Four (4) hours, includes posed and candid shots $450. Full gallery of downloadable images. Additional hours are $125. If there is travel two more than one venue, please add $75. Thank you!
Photo Booth Rental with Backdrop and Props
Who doesn't love taking a selfie with a costume on? All the photos taken at the self-serve kiosk will be sent to their phone via text or email. They can do a boomerang, photo or GIF. Oh yeah, this is fun for everyone! BTW, You can have a copy of all the images after the event sent to you.
Promote you/your business social media
Through the use of my image taking and writing skills, I will promote you on Social Media. For a day, week, month. I will also give you some posts for the future you can use. This service is to get you up and running. I will teach you how to maintain your profile and give you tips and tricks with different softwares.
