My mom recently moved back to the Chicago area. When I visited her the house was not as clean as she usually keeps it. She told me she was having a hard time finding home cleaning maids that were as reliable and thorough as she was used to. We came across Karen's Green Maids and everything changed. They did an amazing job cleaning her house. They also use green home cleaning supplies, which we really appreciated this since we are very environmentally friendly in our family. All of the maids were extremely kind and friendly. If you are looking for honest home cleaning, Karen's is the place to go. They are efficient in deep cleaning. We used them to help get her house ready for our thanksgiving dinner party. The place looked incredible. They got rid of the grime and dust we didn't even realize was there! We had them back after the thanksgiving holiday to take advantage of their post event cleaning and the maids did an equally as amazing job of restoring order to our home. Just a note: they take your credit card before your first appointment. If you cancel late, there is a fee. The cleaning ladies always arrive on time. When they cleaned our home, they were very careful not to break or damage any of our fragile items. They also handled their interactions with us very respectfully. The maids cared about addressing our specific concerns about the cleanliness of our home. You might have to clarify where you want addressed and cleaned even if you told them before the booking. Highest recommendation for Karen's. Couldn't be more impressed with the job done by Luisa and Maria. We tend to keep a clean house, so we weren' t really expecting their deep clean to make a huge difference, but we were wowed by their work and every day we're discovering some other detail they happened to catch. Now our place is cleaner than the day we moved in. On top of that, they managed to put absolutely everything back the way they found it--not a thing lost, broken, or even out of place despite everything having to be moved and replaced for the deep clean. I had another cleaning service scheduled to clean my house on Saturday, June 27 and they were a no-show, which was difficult, as my in-laws were arriving for a visit on July 3 and love an immaculate house (not mine).  I called Karen's based on Yelp reviews and Maximina showed up on time and went to work. I have had her come another time since then and have found her to be punctual, hard-working and friendly, plus- she is easygoing about my 4 dogs. They are friendly and I try to keep them out of the way, but dogs escape sometimes. I have nothing but good things to say so far about this cleaning service. More...
