What’s your interior design process?
First, we start with a discovery call to get to know each other and understand your project needs. From there, you will decide between the Full Service Design Model or the E-Design Model. Once we have gone over the details in whichever model you choose, we then have our first consultation. After the consultation, each model has different steps, but it will look something like this:
1. Mood board presentation: We will review the mood board and make adjustments accordingly. Following the presentation, I will begin working on a proposal for the entirety of the project.
2. Proposal: After the Mood Board presentation, you will receive a proposal for the scope of work along with a contract. Once the retainer has been collected, I will get to working on your project!
3. Measurements and Design: I will request measurements of your space, start designing, present the designs, and make revisions until we find a design that best fits you and your family!
4. Design Delivery: Once you are fully satisfied and you have approved the designs, I will deliver the designs to you along with the procurement list.
What inspired you to start your own business?
With a passion for human expression and communication at the core of my being, I initially began my career in Speech-Language Pathology. It was a rewarding experience, as I witnessed the profound impact that effective communication can have on people's lives.
However, my creative soul was calling for something more. Exploring my love for aesthetics and having an eye for design, I decided to take a leap of faith and pursue my dream of becoming an Interior Designer. That's when I enrolled in the prestigious Interior Design Institute.
Shortly before enrolling in the Interior Design Institute, my husband and I embarked on our home renovation journey. This experience taught me, first hand, how to transform a space into a harmonious and functional environment. Throughout this process, I learned valuable skills such as project management, professional communication, and problem solving.
