KAI studio

Went here for a Bday event and had a lovely time.  Place had good a atmosphere, plenty of seating and dance floor space.  The upstairs held another seating area and photo opt section! lls  They had a full bar and served food buffet style.  Not sure if this place made the food or not but staff served it up like they grandma cooked it thou:!Overall if you're having an event and want it in BK, try this place.  Good location for anyone, driver or subway riders!  I would say make sure the A/C is on and pumping towards the end of the party BK summer nights felt better then inside.  However, the front part of the building opens all the way sooo it kinda worked out on the heat level...sort of! I discovered Kai Studio 3 years ago, and we have just organized our second Bar Mitzvah party with them. Great space, helpful staff, good vibes during the party with all our guests. Yes, 5 stars! This venue, owner and staff are worth every penny. I started planning my daughter's sweet 16 a year in advanced, researching/viewing nearly 40 venues in Brooklyn/Queens and Kai was hands down best choice. I'd never thrown such a large event so I was worried and full of questions. The owner answered every question during tour and via email after tour. As just a potential customer I was treated as if they already had my money. After securing the venue I still emailed and called often with new questions--- always a quick reply and never once felt like a pest. During my event the staff managed my vendors and made sure everything went according to plans. I was able to truly enjoy the event. My guests were raving about the venue and their for weeks after my event. The pricing break down was clearly explained to me in the beginning but what I got was above expectations. Not only do I recommend but I hope to work with Kai Studio Brooklyn AGAIN! More...

IN RESPONSE TO PREVIOUS REVIEW BY "ANONYMOUS" - "Potential Client (NOT A CLIENT)" wanted to project a "Slide Show" on a BIG MOVIE SCREEN which is an "add-on item". We include a 55" LCD TV with a DVD player in the package (at no additional cost). We also include in the package, HIGH END SYSTEMS STAGE DOWN LIGHTING which allows us to change the room to any color (at no additional cost). We also include in the package all the SPEAKERS AND DJ EQUIPMENT (at no additional cost); which should be a cost savings to the Client. The DJ's fee ("to play music" - not included in package) as a result should be considerably low. We also have 1 RESTROOM on the 1st floor and 3 RESTROOMS on the 2nd floor. Furthermore, we are an Event Space (not a Catering Hall) which hosts an array of events; as a result, we can only offer limited tables and chairs. To close, prior to a tour of KAI studio, rates and package information is sent to all inquires. Be advise, if you wish to "add-on items" that is not offered in the package; you will be charged for such items. KAI studio is modern posh venue that offers a great package at below market rate.
