What kind of accounting services do you provide?
We offer personal tax preparation, business tax preparation, CPA related services (offer and compromise, IRS audit letter responses, etc), business entity creation and consultation, bookkeeping services, and other related services. Do not offer auditing services.
Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
We find that there are two kinds of accountants you can hire:
1. The accountant who looks at your financials and tells you what taxes you owe and/or how your business has done.
Or
2. The accountant who looks at your financials and sees how much you can keep in your pocket rather than hand over to the IRS. How to best structure your business and/or how to best purchase that next piece of equipment to give you the most advantageous tax treatment.
We find ourselves to be in category 2. Having been in the industry for so many decades, as well as owning, selling, starting, and operating so many other businesses in different industries, our passion is built around helping others become and stay successful while also saving money on their taxes so they can continue to grow.
What do you love most about your job?
Being able to sit down with individuals or business owners and talk through their questions on taxes and/or business. When your passion lies in helping people with those things, they become the cornerstone of what you love in your job.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Seeing all the business come across his desk from the beginning of his accounting career lead Robert Krop to go from CPA and general tax preparer to CFO of a major company to business owner of not only his own CPA firm, but many other companies. Accounting became the foundation on which Robert Krop's business passion was built. Nick Krop is also a CPA, has been a business owner and involved in the financial management of his own and his family's other businesses since his career began.
Why should our clients choose you?
We treat everyone how we'd want to be treated: like people who don't want to spend all their money on taxes. And when it comes to business we believe you want someone who not only understands the tax code but also is actively involved in their own businesses so they can speak from experience (rather than theory).

Absolutely! We utilize secure portals, file sharing platforms, zoom, calls, password protected document sharing, etc to get the job done virtually. Just let us know if that is your preferred method of tax preparation and we'll go from there!
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We offer all of our services in a remote and in person capacity. So whatever works best for the customer!
