Dylan and Alison are naturals with dogs. My crazy doodle goes wild when new people come over and they were able to get her to calm down so quickly! I was super impressed! They are very knowledgeable about behaviors, nutrition, and equipment (collars, leashes, etc). Making sure that my dog and all of us are confident in our recall & behaviors in our home, before we move outside, to ensure we’re set up for success. I LOVED that they included my younger son in the training! He was so excited to wear the treat pouch and help our dog learn “manners” 😁. There are just some people who animal’s gravitate towards, and these two are definitely some of them! I can’t wait until next month when they are back in town to work on some more skills. 10/10 recommended! More...

K9 Training Connection is awesome! They actually care about you and your dogs while providing reasonable financial options and the best dog training in Fort Collins/Loveland area. A really nice guy named Dylan helped with the training opportunity for my sweet Pitbull babies Diamond and Kilo. He is very considerate and actually cares about dogs and their owners! Plus they are really good at doing what they do and have tons of great tips and knowledge of dog training and nutrition for dogs as well as tons of information for everyday involvement with dogs! I’m super glad I got the opportunity to have K9 Training Connection train my dogs and also very impressed with their care and concern and overall customer service! Would definitely recommend them to anybody with a dog. If you have a fur baby take them to K9 Training Connection I guarantee you will be completely satisfied and impressed with the outcome for you and your dogs! We love working and seeing the changes in our clients. We love to work with all dogs, but the dogs with a little more issues have a special place in our hearts.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We have seen the bond we have created with our dogs through training, we want to spread our knowledge to others. We want others to enjoy owning a dog!
Why should our clients choose you?
We are your one stop shop when it comes to dogs. We can do training, nutrition, puppy raising, and more. We love all breeds and sizes of dogs, no one is ever excluded. We also love working with family and their kids!

We can do training remotely. We can do Zoom, FaceTime, Microsoft Teams, Skype, and more for training. We like to be able to see you and your dog during the training session.
Consultations
A consultation is one 30-60 minute session with you, your dog, and one of our trainers. We will assess your goals for one-on-one training and determine if our program is the right fit for you. For consultations, we charge a non-refundable $50 fee. This fee will be applied to your individualized training package if you choose to train with us.
One-On-One Sessions
We offer customized packages for a private, personalized training experience. This is the best option for dogs with reactivity issues, lack of socialization, or a bite history. We can also help with recall, behavior modification, leash manners, or preparing for a special event. Contact us to book a consultation* with one of our trainers! Packages start at a minimum of four, 60-minute sessions for $660.

Level One: Puppy Basic Obedience
This six-week class is designed for dogs aged 16 weeks to seven months. We will focus on overall basic obedience, socialization, house manners, and leash manners. We limit each class to no more than eight dogs, ensuring a personalized experience.
Level One: Dog Basic Obedience
This six-week class is designed for dogs eight months and older. You and your dog will gain a solid foundation in basic commands and obedience. We limit each class to more than eight dogs, ensuring a personalized experience.
Level One: Shy Dog
This six-week class is designed for dogs four months and older with difficulty socializing. Like-minded dogs can meet and play in a safe space, while their pet parents learn about canine body language and proper socialization techniques. We limit each class to more than eight dogs, ensuring a personalized experience.
Level Two: Leash Manners
This four-week class will help you refine your dog’s leash manners to promote positive behavior while walking together in public. We limit each class to more than eight dogs, ensuring a personalized experience.
Level Two: Recall
Recall in our opinion is the most important command for dogs to learn. This means that when you call their name, they will return to you immediately. If your dog struggles with recall, this four-week class will give you the skills to make sure your dog responds to you regardless of any distractions. This class is limited to a maximum of six participants.
Level Two: Shopping Manners
Most dogs need to be taught how to behave neutrally in a public space. Each week, one of our trainers will meet you at a local, dog-friendly establishment to practice proper etiquette. We will focus on leash manners, greeting strangers appropriately, and reducing reactivity. This four-week class is limited to a maximum of six participants.
Level Two: Paddle Boarding With Your Dog (Spring & Summer Only)
Learn proper water safety with your dog, including how to properly fit a life jacket. We will start on land and work up to paddling with your dog comfortably. This four-week class is limited to a maximum of six participants.
