I specialize in fear free professional grooming for dogs. I build strong, positive, trusting relationships but grooming at your dogs pace and making sure they are comfortable at all times. They are never ‘forced’ to do anything as I never want to give a dog a negative experience or feel nervous when around me.

My two puppies are a handful to say the least. and they get in to everything. Having Alexis as our groomer (and expert support person for all things puppy training and food) has given us the most perfect partner for Ziggy & Stardust's happiest life.
They are Husky-esque dogs with a heavy undercoat. After Lexi grooms them, they are happy, shiny, glorious creatures who are proud of their appearance! Its like they're even better behaved puppies after they've had a grooming with Lexi!
Oh, and the products she uses are AMAZING! The girls come home smelling absolutely wonderful!
I cannot imagine a better partner for Ziggy & Stardust's beautiful bodies and lives.

What do you love most about your job?
I love being able to make dogs feel and look their best ! I love the way their fluffy hair feels when it is fully clean and dry and free of any knots or tangles. I love the owners look on their face when they see their pup with a new haircut and they love it and just start taking pictures right away. My own dogs are my best friend and I wouldn’t want to do any other career !
What inspired you to start your own business?
My hard work drive inspired me to start grooming out of my own home. I used to groom at a facility for several months and had many customers that would come to me frequently. But when that salon closed, I wanted to still serve my clients with my unique “fear free grooming” so I did whatever it took to be able to start grooming from my own home !
Why should our clients choose you?
I would love to have a chance at grooming your pup ! I know grooming can be scary for many dogs especially those that are shy or nervous from a past experience. I specialize in Fear Free Grooming which gives the dog the choice of how cooperative they are going to be. I will always be extremely patient, offer breaks, give bonding experiences, and work with dogs on any fears they have about grooming. I make sure to provide a happy, positive environment that dogs feel safe and comfortable in.

I only work out of my personal home to ensure I have everything I need to do a great groom on your pup. Plus, I have my groom table at home which is not able to be moved around.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I offer complimentary drop off and pick up to ensure that I am not invading on my clients personal homes. They bring their dog out to my car and same process at pick up. I also fully sanitize and clean all my tools/blades/brushes after EVERY use! I never reuse something on a different dog until it is fully cleaned to my high standards.
Grooming
Every groom includes: scrub/wash using premium shampoo & conditioner, Ear cleaning & plucking, Nail trim & grind, Sanitary trim, Full haircut, Towel dry & hand blow dry, full brush out, finishing spray
Bathing
Every bath includes: wash/scrub with premium shampoo + conditioner, nail trim & grind, ear cleaning + plucking, sanitary trim (if breed appropriate), towel & hand blow dry, full brush out, finishing spray!
Mani/Pedi
A nail trim along with grinding afterwards to ensure smooth, even nails that are at ideal length !
Anal Gland Expression
Clearing of the anal sacs. Service is to be added to a bath or groom if desired.
Dematting
Working through all tangled fur without cutting or shaving the fur. This is done with great patience, section by section to ensure the dog is able to keep their hair the same length all over. This is only taking out tangles/ matts so after this service you would be able to brush your dog without any issues. This is an additional fee to the groom if a dog has severe tangles that take extra time.z
Deshedding Treatment
This is an add on service to a groom or bath. Deshedding treatment is ideal for dogs that are blowing their coat, or shedding excessively. The deshedding treatment is done with special deshedding shampoo & conditioner to help your dog blow their coat within a couple days and then drastically decrease in the amount of daily shedding for some time after.
Touch up
Your pup had a groom a couple weeks ago - but is not ready for another full groom. But their face is getting too long and needs a nice touch up to last the next few weeks before you schedule another full groom. This can be added onto a bath or done as an individual service.
