Words cannot describe how amazing this place is for dog training. They managed to take our previously untrainable dog and delivered on their word. When we came to Evan with our 11-year-old lab mix we were at a complete loss. Life with our dog had become a burden. The concept of leisurely walks was no longer part of our lives. The pulling and loss of control on the leash were our reality. Also mixed in was a growing level of anxiety in our girl. It was a nightmare for all of us.Now after a series of sessions with Evan we feel like we have a whole new outlook. The change is absolutely amazing. It is like walking a totally different dog. And we feel like we’ve been set free. Free to go out and enjoy the world with our dog. What I appreciated the most is that Evan took time with us. To talk and find out about our lives and how we operated as a family. He used those talks to help us set realistic expectations for our life with our dog. Evan trained two dogs for me. I could never manage these two without the foundation of discipline he provided. I know he had more problem training me how to follow through with the structure my dogs need to be happy. As it turns out, just like children, dogs need consistent routines. Dog training isn’t “magic wand” waving, although he makes it look like it. It’s a daily practice that continues after classes end. I’m a teacher. If you could teach a child to read in a month and then expect them to continue reading and learning without guidance for the rest of their lives, we’d be in an illiterate world. Just like children need to read with a parent every night for minor corrections and lots of praise, my dogs need daily practice and minor corrections to keep learning and growing. Very impressed with Evan! My 10 month old puppy just completed the two week boarding bootcamp and I am mind blown by how much she has improved in just two weeks! ! Evan addressed all issues we were having with obedience, leash walking, and potty training (among many other things). He is super knowledgeable, and took his time in explaining what he was doing with our puppy and why it was effective. We have a few more classes with Evan, and I can’t wait to learn more and watch my puppy continue to improve under Evan’s training. More...

My kids and I recently completed their expert dog training services group beginner class. We were very pleased with our experience and we’d like to do the intermediate class next. This class covered “all basic obedience behaviors to include: sit, down, stay, leave it, drop it, loose leash walking, coming when called, sitting for greetings.
