I have driven by this place more times than I could possibly guess and was always curious. Finally checked the spot out with my brother and found out that it is exceptionally good! Great environment overall, the staff was friendly and helpful, and most importantly the food was outstanding. Love this cozy atmosphere place - One of the most decent Korean place in town. Yes, the food is great most of the time. Sometimes, the food cannot be as good as you would expect but like us, we have a good day and a bad day, one day you feel good things taste good and vice versa. One bad day can’t view as all bad. The couple who owns the place, is very friendly and hard working people. They try their best to serve you and make your request as good as it can be. I had to ask for a fork. Felt like such an outsider. I have used chopsticks since I was very young. I have RA and the skinny metal chopsticks they give are heavy and and skinny and hard for me to handle. Five stars for a fun, tasty and affordable dining experience! The food is authentic and consistent; never lacking in flavor. The restaurant is cozy with the option of meals from the kitchen, or a tabletop grill which allows you to drive your item cooking experience. I looooove this place! Luan is my favorite girl, shes so personable and knowledgeable. The ambulance is cool, korean music playing not too loud, not too quiet. .. the entrees come with complimentary miso and little appetizer tasters that are different every time I come. Not the best Korean I've ever had, but good for Boise. Good prices and a range of options, and they recently expanded their menu. I get the dolsot bibimbap every time I go and I'm never disappointed!! They let you order your bowl extra hot so the rice actually gets a little crispy. The potato and cucumber banchan are their best side dishes, not always available though. Their complimentary miso is really good. My only complaints are that some of their side dishes come with deli meat and are not the most authentic, and their menu change took out the egg being standard in their ramen. Fantastic food and even better service. My wife ordered the hot plate beef and pork, and it was delicious. The young waitress on the Saturday night shift took great care of us as well. Definitely would recommend.

I left this quiet restaurant feeling satisfied and fortunate. I have never had a Korean dish before this so I dove right in with Bibimbap. The flavor in the Bibimbap compelled me enough to research more into Korean dishes and from what web searching has shown this is authentic! I'm not a connoisseur of korean food, aside from authentic korean food made by exchange students my sister was helping. I had the beef bolgogi, and was not dissapointed. It was very tender and juicy with a strong flavor, but not over powering, and the rice was perfect. Only issue I has was the decor.
