JYM catered our small backyard wedding with 15 immediate family members. Communication leading up to the event was great and they offered a wide range of food and catering options. Many of my family members are cooks so it is a tough crowd. Even so, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food. At first I wasn’t sure if they would deliver they were like 7 and we were looking for 10 of more people to serve 400 people.
Man! I tell you they work at a fast pace and are very professional.
The food selection was yummy! They customized the menu to our taste. American, Italian, BBQ and Mediterranean it boy it was delicious!

What’s your signature dish?
We’ve been asked that quite a lot because we make all of our dishes to perfection. For that reason, it is hard to point of what is our signature or popular dish. Our BBQ are popular along with all of the appetizers, we deliver exceptional service.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We accessed the type of event that the service is for, we accessed the type of meals the clients wants along with the expected crowd. Generally Budget is last on our list because we work with all sorts of budget. We might not offer you a large portion of the different meals but we are able to provide an alternative option that will best suit the crowd and setting.
What do you love most about your job?
We love to see our clients engaged while getting a taste of our delicacies.
What inspired you to start your own business?
This is a partnership of 3 individuals who went to business school together, work in the same company for several years before deciding to partner up and start a catering business. We are “foodies” we all come from different backgrounds, African, Caribbean, Middle Eastern and American.
Why should our clients choose you?
Our customers are our priority, the reason behind “ cater” which is accommodating someone needs. We are here to fulfill all catering services for our clients, all of our staffs hold at minimum a Bachelors in management or hospitality. Most of the staffs have worked in hotels, large restaurants and have worked as private chefs.

We provide virtual consultation of menu for all events, most of our clients are “open to suggestions”.
We asked questions about their events and what kind of food they’re looking for, southern soul food, BBQ, classic American, Mexican etc… We then suggest a customized budget friendly menu that will feed their guest. We are proud to use quality ingredients to satisfy our clients.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We are now giving the option for our customers to pick up or get their meals dropped off by one of the staff or Uber at their convenience.

JYM's GRILL brings 8 years of experience catering experience, Event planning and DJ services. The team consists of 8 individuals with experience in different hospitality domain ( catering, DJ, MC and event planning). We cover special events catering, corporate catering, weddings etc...
For DJ services, we offer both virtual and in person consultation for larger event bookings. DJ Julio Mixx is a well known DJ in the African, Caribbean and American community where he offers unlimited fun. This DJ often collaborates with DJ dirty Rico at lounges and other events.
We are cater and offer DJ services for birthdays, graduations, house warming, weddings, conferences, any event you name it!
