Our family has had all kinds of dogs and consider ourselves above average handlers. After our oldest crossed the rainbow bridge, we chose a rescue for our lonely Stevie! The new dog definitely had some issues but we decided to adopt NOT shop and immediately started training classes. Unfortunately, the pet store trainers couldn't handle him and we were not allowed back. Long story short, we tried 3 private trainers, all of whom said he was aggressive and should be euthanized. A co-worker recommended JvC and this was our last resort, having spent thousands on finding a solution already. Within the first session, both of our boys were in a room together unleashed (an impossibility before). We learned what signs to look for and methods to prevent further incidents. Our home is now peaceful and the only regret we have is not finding them sooner! More...

What do you love most about your job?
The dogs of course!
The most rewarding part is helping families better understand their pet.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I grew up with chows and rottweilers. After moving to Houston in 2014, I bought a working German Shepherd, Johnny von Cash, who created the business with me. I became a trainer to keep him fulfilled as he loved working and meeting new dogs and people!
Why should our clients choose you?
I've been a dog lover my whole life and have volunteered with local rescues for the past 6 years.
We have experience with feral, reactive, aggressive, impulsive, and working dogs from abuse, abandonment, injury, and various other issues

Many of our clients have tried multiple trainers with limited results and are looking for a solution as a last resort before rehoming their pet.
Our sessions will be judgement-free and focus on educating you to strengthen your bond with your fur baby.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Upon request, we are more than happy to mask up for your protection and/or train in different environments to keep everyone safe.
Dog Training
We offer mobile dog training in your home (references available upon request), outdoors or in public venues where dogs are allowed.
Board and Train
We offer board and train in Houston. Your pet will be treated as our own and will have plenty of friends to play with!
