I love going here around 9pm as is not very busy and all of the machines are usually free. The staff is always friendly and helpful if you have a question. I have the $19 per month plan that let's me do nearly everything except the classes and tanning which I am not interested in but for I think $10 more you can get. If I have a poor experience here I will let you know and update the review post haste. I never had a problem there when it was Gold's gym years ago and I love the set up now. It is one of the most comprehensive gyms in the area with a good layout and plenty of floor space. My only issue has been late at night there aren't enough associates to put away people's used gear when they decide to be too lazy to put it away. I will make a proper respectful complaint next time I go. This is very minor and putting away the extra equipment for others was a chance to do a good deed as well as work out more so, I can be positive about that. Otherwise, I have had reliable and friendly, consistent customer service! I do not understand people's complaints about the cancellation fees. They are very up front in their contract and it states them perfectly clear and all in print. What this means is that in all of those complaints... NO ONE TOOK THE TIME TO FULLY READ THEIR CONTRACT, and if anyone is salty about this... Tough... That's what happens when you don't read a contract IN FULL, and no I don't work for them, if that's what you are wondering reading this. I can promise you that!! I have been to gym after gym in Polk and Highlands county, and this one is right up there in ammenities and cost to value ratio. I pay 30 a month and I can do any class I want. It is still the best value for a gym I have found in our area. For anyone worrying about their financial team, they literally have a text number which goes right to them and they always text back within 5 minutes or less, ALWAYS. I have had financial troubles, they will put your account on hold if you communicate this to them in advance. Also, the cancellation is not news to me. I read my contract, main thing, and I am aware of their termination fee as well as how to cancel. If necessary, I will begin communicating early with them if I ever decide to cancel. What I see based on these reviews is that people tried to cancel in a possible rush, with expectations of how their contract works, erroneously, and possibly tried to cancel at the last minute and didn't reach out to their clearly established financial member line.... Why I dont know. Things like that are based in communication and it is likely that former members did not begin the cancellation process with early and prompt communication. Since people have had problems in the past, I would recommend communicating a month or two in advance so that they are aware and can work with you! Also if you are a new member, read your contract carefully before you sign and ask for clarification of the termination process. It's all there in print. Perhaps former members where not told by sales people of the termination fee which is unfortunate, they should be complaining about that person being misleading if that is the case, but in this position you only have yourself to blame if you dont read a contract, in full! Going back to their actual equipment, some of the 45 lb plates are worn but they have been there as long as Gold's has and there are lots of weights. I was able to fully reformat my workout being at such a comprehensive gym and I am eternally grateful. If reviews of over crowding worry you, then talk to the patrons ask to rotate in, talk to people about when their sets are done, ask when they are finishing a machine. With all the foot traffic and in all my years there I never had a problem waiting out someone's sets or coming back to a machine at it's busiest as a gym. I think once or twice I was pressed for time and had to go but 2 times in over 3 years of going is not bad and it was only due to my own impatience. The new track area is wonderful and tire flipping is great fun, I really appreciate the transformation and that they actual use your equipment fees to improve the gym. Went as a guest with my brother. Amazing gym, the equipment they have is top knock. Great mix of free weights along with machines. You name it they got it. Being a lifelong YMCA member I've forgotten how other gyms are. Just move is a breath of fresh air as it is a country club for those into fitness. The facility is super larger with plenty of weights, machines, and treadmills/cardio machines. They have a separate room where you can watch movies while you work out. They also have a basketball court and racquetball courts. This is by far one if the best facilities I've been to. For 30 bucks a month you can't beat it!!! More...

Best gym I've ever belonged to. They offer babysitting, a separate cardio movie room, a separate room for ladies, but not mandatory to use. The main part has every piece of equipment you can think of, free weight area, an area just for stretching, 2+ rooms for classes, unsure of the number of rooms. They have a separate basketball court, a separate room for racquetball, separate locker rooms for both men and women, steam room, and showers. If you want a trainer you have to pay separately for them, but you have several to choose from. My experience was, I wasn't informed about being able to choose my trainer, which would have been a better experience, because I have special needs. Otherwise a great place to workout. More...

Just move, formerly known as Golds, has been my gym for over 6 years. The nice part about this gym is no matter where you're at in Polk County, you're always able to access the gym! There are 4 convenient locations. Winter Haven, Havendale, South Lakeland and North Lakeland. Update....... Holy cow, if you want a total body workout come and take a Body Boot Camp class with Tony Karl! Talk about getting it done. .....you will be dripping with sweat and feel great afterwards!This gym is totally worth every penny. First, it feels like home. The staff greets you buy name every time. I don't ever feel out of place there. There's no muscle bound guys grunting & sweating. There's always something to do so your never bored. I love the ladies only room and the cinema room is awesome!
