I don't actually like to think just in terms of a specific design style. That feels a little too 'inside-of-the-box' to me. I'd rather like to find and deliver the perfect feel of a space. So it will always be 100 percent unique to the client and their story. Do I have a certain aesthetic that weaves all of that together? Certainly. But I don't look at it as a style, but rather the framework that makes it all come together beautifully in the end - time and time again.

Oh, gosh that's hard to choose because I love every aspect of my job. But the most amazing thing that I’ve always felt as a designer is the idea of creating rooms around the moments that people are going to experience in them. Every space is this opportunity to create a moment for people to live joyfully and beautifully.

The freedom to connect with my clients in a way that allows my design philosophy to shine and the spaces to reach their uttermost potential. Dream spaces are made in collaboration with dream clients. Finding those dream clients is a unique aspect of running my own design firm.

I'm passionate about transforming spaces in ways that speak to my clients' unique visions, needs, and personalities. I believe that good interior design allows us to feel comfortable, but great interior design is where we uncover what is most important to us. Whether it’s a grand dining room to gather with friends and loved ones, a home library to dive into a best-selling novel, or a kitchen to brave baking with a toddler. When people feel truly at home, the difference in how they live is profound. This is what I like to offer to everyone who chooses to work with me.

Yes! That is actually how I work on a large percentage of my projects, using modern communication & project management tools, as well as 3D software. And while there is no replacement for actually BEING in a space and experiencing it in person, I do believe that the right designer doesn’t have to be out of reach, just because they don't live nearby. With a modern approach and open communication, I love to make aesthetically pleasing yet functional interiors accessible to everyone – anywhere.

Keeping my customers safe is always a priority and won't ever go out of style (pun intended). It is important to balance what is needed for a project to be successful and my clients' health and safety. All my clients are in full control over this part of the process and will always have options to 'see me' virtually rather than in-person. We will work together however they feel most comfortable. I think Covid-19 has made the creative industry even more creative and technology has given us new ways to collaborate, beyond the traditional face-to-face.
