We had an amazing experience with Heather of June star photography, from the initial consult to the ordering process! She’s is not only an incredible photographer but also a secret “baby whisperer”! Our little man stayed asleep during the almost 4 hour photo shoot through outfit changes, posing and prop placing! When my Husband arranged a Family photo session as a Mother's Day gift, I was elated. When I realized this meant I actually had to be in front of a camera, I was terrified. I am an EXPERT at ruining pictures. However, when the day of our shoot came, I was instantly put at ease by the personable and calm demeanor of Heather. I couldn't be more pleased with our newborn session experience with Heather at June Star Photography! When I decided to have pictures done at the last minute, Heather was wonderful about fitting us into her schedule so my daughter could be photographed within the appropriate timeline. We absolutely love the photos that Heather captured of our son and of us as a family! They turned out better then what I imagined since we had our photo shoot on what had to be the hottest most humid day of July. She was very patient and had lots of ideas on how to shoot our 3 month old and worked with him until she finally got that smile. We weren't planning to book a newborn shoot until our little man arrived and we decided he was just too cute not to document. We were referred to June Star by one of her clients and she also had high online ratings. Typically these sessions are booked well in advance but Heather graciously squeezed us in last minute. I cannot begin to understand how June produced such an amazing portfolio of pictures for my newborn son and our family. I am extremely critical when it comes to photos, and June is just above and beyond the definition of a perfectionist. My husband and I booked June Star photography for our maternity photo shoot based on the recommendation of a peer. We were really pleased with the ease of booking and the information we received prior to the shoot to aide us in pre determining what packages may be of interest as well as Heather's sheer perfessionalisim on the day of our photo shoot! Not only did she find an awesome place for my husband and I to avoid some phobias I have with lakes and too much grass, she made me feel comfortable during our shoot and was able to work around my many request I had that day. We were required to fill out a survey prior to the shoot, which highlighted fun facts about my husband and I and she used this information to ensure that she highlighted who we are!!!! We had an amazing connection and all the shots we took were effortless! Not only that, but Heather had a truckload of gowns that would allow me to pick and chose different looks outside the 1 look I brought with me that day. I could have totally saved spending over $100 on a new dress to only wear it once when we had a very nice selection of dresses offered for use during the shoot that day.
