Julie did an amazing job! She asked all the important questions to achieve the look everyone was looking for. I was the mother of the bride, which she made look very natural without looking too overly made up! My daughter was the bride and looked beautiful! Julie came highly recommended and she sid not disappoint. You see, I'm not much for wearing makeup, but knew I wanted to look subtly beautiful without looking over done. Julie did an amazing job making me feel beautiful on my wedding day with perfect tones, intact so beautiful I didnt want to wash it off at the end of the night. She also made all my bridesmaids look amazing and accommodated all their needs as well. Not only does she do great work, but she was very easy to work with and flexible with the location of our event. Julie is awesome! She's very professional, extremely accommodating, comfortable to be around, and does a fantastic job. Being a more mature woman, I find that it's very tricky to find the right balance of natural makeup, without overkill. That was the reason that I originally tried Julie. She specializes in airbrush makeup, which is perfect for older women with less than flawless skin. The result is a more natural look that still embodies the glam of Hollywood. Loved working with Julie for my wedding! I was in love with my makeup, as was each of my 9 bridesmaids! Everyone felt beautiful, and everyones makeup stayed on the entire night! Since I had a Catholic ceremony, some girls got their make-up done at 6:30 am to make sure we were all done in time, and her makeup stayed flawless until after the reception! I was so lucky Julie happened to be available for my wedding date when I called her two weeks before the day! Since I live in LA, I had a last minute, terrible makeup trial with the person I had planned to work with.
I frantically called multiple other artists suggested by my hair salon, Studio Luxe. I checked out Julie's portfolio online and was really impressed by her work. She got back to me very quickly and set up a trial within the next few days.
Julie was so professional and personable. The day of the wedding ended up being completely off schedule but she rolled with it and got my and my two bridesmaids' makeup done beautifully and on time. My makeup stayed put all night and I really felt beautiful! Her prices were very reasonable for the quality of her makeup application. I would recommend her to any bride-to-be!

The first time I used Julie was for my wedding day and I could not have been any happier!!! She did such a phenomenal job and absolutely everyone asks me who did my make-up just from seeing my wedding photos. I have referred her to several other of my friends for their weddings and she has been outstanding!! I would highly recommend to use for any occasion, not just your wedding. She is my go to person for make up for parties, family photos, etc. Any event I need her to do my make-up because she does such superior work. Not only does she do so well, she also has such a calm presence to her, which makes it so comfortable having the make up done. I was a nervous wreck on my wedding day and her presence calmed me down immediately, not to mention she made me beautiful!!! People come to me all the time after seeing photos to get her information. Julie did an AMAZING job with my makeup for my wedding reception in July!! She spent so much time making sure I looked absolutely perfect!
She did airbrush makeup and added lashes and when she was done I looked in the mirror and couldn't believe that was me... I cried because I couldn't believe how good I looked! I took my mom with me and had Julie do her makeup as well.... I wanted her to feel and look special, and WOW, did she ever! She couldn't believe it! She was so happy and cried over how great it turned out! That alone made my day to see my mom so beautiful and happy! : )
I highly recommend Julie! She is a true artist in her profession and such a pleasure to work with!! I felt like a movie star and was because of Julie! Thank you!!!!
