I had such a great initial consultation with Julia Robin Interiors. After chatting briefly on the phone to set up the appointment and send her a picture of my space, Julia came with a number of excellent, appropriate, beautiful ideas, and so much enthusiasm for my wishes for my project. Her proposed ideas, budget and timeline all seemed very realistic and fair, and though at the time I wasn't able to pursue and complete the total proposed project, she gave me links to all of her suggestions so I could continue to consider them. I couldn’t have found a better partner for my project! I came into the project with scattered ideas and a limited sense of what would actually work for my house, and Julia managed to take everything I said and come up with a design I love. Wanting to still make sure I was making the best decision, I spent time on my own considering variations on the design, only to come back to Julia’s plan every time. I’m really impressed with the way she figured out what to do with the space so quickly, all while showing that she actually understood what I wanted (without just stopping at the surface of my request) and that she could balance her sensibilities with my own. Design sense aside, she was also a great project manager — she always kept the plan moving, responded quickly to my messages, and sent me messages that showed she had my project on her mind and cared about it.
