I am a progressive tech geek and music composer based in Brooklyn, New York. With an MA in Interactive Media, I am passionate about the power of the internet and new media to promote community, the arts, and progressive activism.

My studio, Julia Barry Productions, provides music and web services for artists, educators, advocates, wellness practitioners, non-profit groups, and anyone putting goodness into the world. As a consultant, maker, and “tech gal Friday,” I help those who champion unique, meaningful work by creating media (text, image, sound), and branding and building their successful web platforms.

I have consulted and created for a cadre of activists, thinkers, and creatives since 2007, and have also worked online with feminist publishing organizations like New Moon Girls and SheWrites.com. My understanding of the arts, digital technology, and their intersections with authentic human goals make a strong foundation for my work with clients.
