Eli is an amazing and talented person. She rescued my hair after a failed ombré job at another salon. My hair was not an easy job. It was brassy, I also have grey hair, and the other salon did a terrible job with the gradation and coloring. Elie did not complain about my hair or how difficult the task would be. She was kind and professional and made me feel at ease.Eli assessed my hair and went straight to work. She has a wonderful assistant (I forgot her name) that helped with my hair. Everyone at the salon was attentive and kind. The end result of my hair was amazing. Even though my hair was a difficult case, Eli gave me a beautiful ombré. The highlights and the coloring is amazing and match beautifully with my skin tone. I am so happy I found a salon I love. Lizette is amazing. They have Oribe and Kerastasse products. They are extremely reasonably priced. They always have ice water with lemon in real glasses and coffee with creamer and they have a nice selection of magazines to browse if you are getting color. They charge very low for single process color, cut and blowdry and I go there every week for a wash blowdry and flat iron and during my time they don't try to take 3-4 clients while they put my color and I can go outside to smoke if I need to and it's a much more relaxed salon plus I don't have to bring a picture or do anything and they can give me a dry texturized cut and not take much of the length off. Tomas at Juan Juan is the main reason why I drive all the way over to Brentwood from the valley. When you find a talented stylist and colorist in Los Angeles, you'll drive through any length of traffic for them. When I first started going to see Tomas, he was at the Juan Juan salon location in Woodland Hills (now closed). When I first met Tomas, my hair was damaged from several years of hair extensions. He convinced me to give up the attached i-tip type extensions and sourced a halo extension to use for an extra boost and special occasions. This saved my hair! His talents in color are amazing! I've been blonde (originally brunette but have a lot of gray to cover) and now Tomas has formulated the most beautiful "sunset" strawberry blonde color for my hair. I'm absolutely crazy for this color, it's the absolute most perfect hair color for me. Tomas' styling is always natural with full bodied waves. I feel like a princess when I leave the salon.The Brentwood location is very a relaxed ambiance, unlike other salons that can be too hectic. You'll get quality attention from everyone there. I appreciate that the staff is always welcoming. I never feel a sense of snootiness when coming here. I also love coming here because Tomas never fails to do an amazing job on my hair. Best salon in all of LA. When you want to get your hair done once right the first time you come here. Everyone is a professional and knows what they are doing. This is a review for Andrea. I've been her client for years now and I followed her from previous salons. She is a magician. She's the best stylist with color I've ever been to. I used to get highlights and then balayage from her and she's simply one of the best with both those. Recently I went from having baby lights on dark blonde/light brown hair to a bleach and tone all over. It was a major change and she spent so much time and care on my hair it's amazing now. She also has kept my hair from damage, which is amazing. I have deceptively difficult hair--it's very fine and tangles easily but I have a LOT of it, and it's curly. It was damaged years ago when I let my friend bleach it before I went to Andrea and she manages my crazy hair wonderfully. I first met Andrea Skelton when I had this brassy, overly bleached blondeishhh hair that I was tired of looking at. That was about four years ago, and I've never gone to anyone else since! She has taken my hair to brunette, to red, and to blonde all over again and my hair has still not fallen off (as you can see from the pic). So I rarely write reviews on yelp but... this salon definitely deserves one! My experience here was amazing for multiple reasons. Mostly because of Eliej.Good vibes:ALL of the staff that I interacted with were extremely friendly and hospitable. I felt very comfortable and taken care of. The salon is incredibly clean also.Hair:The balayage that I received came out beautifully. The notably professional and adequate stylists made sure that I left in love with my hair. 2 years ago Kayla (color genius) was able to fix my orange (yes people... I typed Orange!) colored hair. Being a busy mom of 3 and living 3 hours round trip- I tried to make due with the stylists in my area. My hair color was "good" but my family wanted it to be "great" because they love me. So after a 3 hour drive (round trip) and a whole day in the chair - every minute and dollar spent was worth it. As my daughter says "I TOLD YOU THEY WERE MAGICAL!" Juan Juan (Brentwood) has been my go-to salon for a few years now. Caroline is the best , The Best, THE BEST for color! I've had my hair done in amazing salons in New York , London, etc. Caroline is the most talented and magical colorist anywhere in the world as far as I'm concerned. My blond hair looks always looks amazing and natural when I leave. Andrea Skelton is a color genius. She did my color correction last year and saved my hair! I went from dark brunette to blonde in a matter of weeks and I still have healthy hair. I've been wanting natural highlights for a long time but was always so scared to bleach my hair. Im so happy I found an awesome hairstylist Sebby! ! he was so confident that I would love highlights.
