JT Photography. Where to begin with Jacque. One word to describe her- amazing. We decided to book her after our first meeting. Her services are a reasonable price and her work is breathtaking. Jacque is such a vibrant, fun, talented person. Working with her was a dream. We did family pictures before the wedding and loved them so much we booked her to photograph our rehearsal dinner. What do you love most about your job?
I preserve memories from your wedding day for you, your loved ones, and mostly for generations that have yet to be born or brought into your family. So as your family grows, kids can see what their parents were like future friends and in-laws can know who you were in the years before they came. I preserve personal history!! That’s a big deal! I love it!!
With commercial and styled shoots, I love that I get leave a little legacy of not only me behind, but you too.
What inspired you to start your own business?
When I was a little girl I would visit my Granny often. Under her bed was a 5lb chocolate box from See’s candy. The edges were worn, the lid warped and the corners tattered. This box no longer contained the chocolates pictured on the box, but hundreds of photos. Photos of family members that had long died before my time. My mom, aunts and uncles as children. My granny before she was a mother and various moments throughout her life.
I loved that box and the adventures it held. The idea that so many of those photos were taken by someone who trained to do that stuck with me into adulthood.
When I was 18 I met a friend in the industry who said I had some talent in photography and I should make a career of it. The thought of my work living on in the tiny hands of generations that would never know me, never hear my name, but because of me they would know a piece of their own personal history. How could I not do that?

I’m known for capturing and translating emotion well. I love telling stories through my images. I’m a technical geek, I know my equipment inside and out.
At times I’m on the dance floor singing the words to EVERY song (literally, I know them all). Next I’m only noticed once my flash goes off and your in the middle of a moment with your grandmother, now captured forever.
I’m goofy, creative, serious about my job, I love parties, and making people laugh, often at my expense! ;)

Wedding Photography
No big deal, just one of the most important days of your life! Pledging to do life with someone is kind of a big deal. Remembering the details, the events as they unfold, and the loved ones that shared that day with you are vital.
Which means my job is one of the most important jobs of this day! I do NOT take that responsibility lightly and I'm honored every time a couple chooses to let me shoot their day!
What I love the most about wedding day photography is knowing that not only are these photos for you, your parents, and dear aunt Ida. They're also for the people that you have yet to meet!
They're for the little people you may create, or adopt. They're for the people that you will meet long after you say "i do".
These will be the photos that will show your history, what you've come from, and yes maybe show some questionable style decisions that seemed like a good idea at the time. These photos will preserve who you are right now and that will go on forever!
I've never met 2 brides who are identical. So I don't expect every package and all needs to be identical. I have base packages and can build packages to fit both your needs and your budget.
Boudoir Photography
JT Photography offers boudoir photography. I host several events throughout the year. Each event comes with hair and makeup services, in a stylized location, wine, and a book of the final product of images. These events are open to anyone, including couples and are announced on my social media accounts.
Planning a girls night out, or want a fun unique bachelorette party? We can hold a private boudoir event for you. You and your girlfriends will get a fun, empowering session with professional hair and makeup. When your sessions are done, you will look and feel AMAZING! Perfect for a night on the town.
