What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Three things - music selection, reading the crowd, and having an upbeat charisma. Anyone can play a playlist from a cell phone, but it takes prior planning and constant attentiveness to know what the customer wants and read what the crowd is feeling.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
I have a very wide range of music that I like including but not limited to rock, classic rock, alternative, pop, hard rock, rap, hip hop, R&B, jazz, blues, big band, Latin pop, Mexican rock, mariachi, reggae, country, Christian, etc. But, it's not about what I like, its about what you like. I try to fill any and all requests from the customer as well as the customer's guests provided the customer approves.
What do you love most about your job?
I love meeting new people, making people happy, and listening to good music. Chances are, if you like the music, I like it too.
What inspired you to start your own business?
When I go to my friends' parties, I wind up being the DJ/KJ. Eventually I decided to step it up a notch and invest in the equipment needed to put on a REAL party, so now I'm booking gigs to bring my love of music and entertainment to your party so everyone can have a fun, memorable time.
Why should our clients choose you?
I aim to please. The only thing I love more than music and family is seeing the smile on a customer's face knowing they are satisfied. If you can find that kind of dedication for the same affordable price elsewhere, then I guess I have some competition. But until then, I'm the one you want.
