WOW!!! I catered part of my Thanksgiving spread from Jonathan's and it was spectacular!!! The prime rib roast was very flavorful, the mac n cheese was perfect, as were all the other sides ( brussel sprouts , glazed carrots & roasted veggies). Thank you to Jonathan and his staff!! Local restaurant with good food and ok service. Nothing really stood out for me though. You can bring your own wine. Corkage fee is $20 per bottle which I think is reasonable.

This was a wonderful little neighborhood restaurant. The service was incredibly fast. I ordered the shrimp, scallops, and grits and it was exactly what I was hoping it would be. The dumplings were good, fat, and filling. Personally, I can make better ones (but I am asian so...). 2-3 dumplings served in a soy/vinegar/ponzu sauce with fresh bell peppers and lettuce. I believe I should've been given a spoon & fork. Next, I had the pecan crusted trout, it was butterflied very nice and thin. crusted with pecans and panko. It was good. Despite what the menu might say, there was no scampi sauce?Lastly, I had the chocolate mousse dessert. I wanted something light. But the snickers pie was very very good. I assume the nutella cheesecake was also very good because it was already sold out by 12:15.Great service! Absolutely spectacular!! Came in for HRW with my boyfriend. He had the caprese, steak, and apple cobbler. I had the ravioli, shrimp and grits, and they ran out of key lime pie, and we already paid so we just got chocolate cake. Best caprese we've ever ever had. My ravioli was so mouthwatering that I didn't want to share it with him. Chopped garlic, olive oil, and spices that I couldn't quite put my finger on. My god, it was good. Entree: he had the steak, which was cooked perfectly. Topped with a chunky flavorful chimichurri sauce and a side of mashed potatoes. I had the jumbo blackened shrimp and scallops cooked in butter and oil on top of grits in a brown savory white wine and lemon sauce. It was amazing. We decided they should cater our wedding, should we decide to get married. Dessert: we took this Togo because we were too full. Initially, we picked the apple cobbler and key lime cheesecake, but they ran out of the latter and we got a chocolate cake instead. I ate the cake in the car on the way home. Delicious and rich. A bit dry but overall very very good. My boyfriend has yet to eat the apple cobbler. Lunch was good but Dinner was/would be better, if I recall correctly. More...

Ordered the 16 oz boneless ribeye which was very good and cooked just right.My only complaint is when I ordered the Au Poivre topping. They put a ton of it on the steak was literally swimming in the sauce.
