Where do I begin on these two....Jon and Jess made our wedding! Our wedding would not be nearly as amazing as it was without having these two as our photographers. They went above and beyond to make sure we not only had all the photos taken we wanted but also helped us out with other details such as helping me with my veil, making sure everything ran smoothly and even found my bustle when no one else could. I can’t explain how wonderful they are to work with and how much effort they put into getting the most beautiful shots. We cannot imagine having anyone else do our wedding pictures. All of the photos they took captured our entire wedding day so perfectly and we can’t wait to look back on this pictures for years to come. You can tell that Jon and Jess are such a good team and we loved their spirit and excitement about what they do. Their photos are stunning and we liked that each of them have a different style, so we'll be sure to capture the important set shots but also the emotion through candids as well. Being a photographer myself, I understand the importance of connecting with your clients to provide them not only the best images that you can, but the best experience taking them. During our recent shoot with Jess of Jon and Jess Photography I was blown away with Jess' ability to bring out the connection in our family and capture them so beautifully in our photos. Her ability to connect with us made us more at ease to connect with each other for her to watch and capture. My children walked away from our shoot saying "that was fun" instead of feeling tired and as if they had completed a chore. Her edits are wonderful and her understanding of her camera, exposure and lighting made our entire shoot "framers". I cannot wait for future sessions with Jess, deepening our client/photographer bond which will only create better images for us. Jess was so wonderful! We booked them for engagement/ family photos. We were awkward and uncomfortable at first but Jess put us right to ease and our shoot was a breeze. I wish I could give Jon and Jess 10 stars! We thank our lucky stars our paths crossed with Jon and Jess as they were a recommendation of a friend of a friend! All communication prior to our wedding day was upbeat and professional and detail oriented. We were so excited to work with them both as they both captured different types of shots and both have an eye for beautiful moments! On the actual day, both were professional and helpful in wrangling people into photos effortlessly and all guests of our wedding loved interacting with both Jon and Jess. Their work is amazing, the colors are captured beautifully and there is a romance in their photos that can't be duplicated. Where do I begin- these two are truly special and unique. Their love for each other inspires their work and in everything they do. Jon & Jess captured our engagement and wedding, and stole the hearts of our guests. Even my mom said at one point "I love Jon & Jess, can they live in WI and be my friend?" That says it all. They are talented, dedicated, kind, and thoughtful. They make it super easy, FUN and relaxing! Jon & Jess are amazing photographers. Â Jess met up with us at the state capitol for our engagement pictures. Â She was so friendly & easy going so we both felt so comfortable. Â Jess was happy to meet with me to go over the fine details of my wedding. Â By the time my wedding day came around I felt like she was one of my best friends. Â After getting ready pictures things with my bridesmaids got a little hectic so I jumped in Jess' van so I can clear some air, breath, and have a mini panic attack. Â Jess was so cool, calm, & collected. The best part about Jon & Jess is that Jon can take care of the men while Jess focuses on the women. It was so nice having 2 photographers that I completely trusted with the biggest day of my life! Â They are both so friendly and chill, I definitely needed that in high stress moments. We've had a Christmas mini session and a Valentine's Day mini session with Jon & Jess. Jess is the one that's taking photos up close, interacting with the kids to get them to smile. She's friendly, yet professional. The photos are amazing, beyond my expectations. Her props are simple and sweet, and totally complements the feel of the occasion. The quality of the photos, contrast, and color is aesthetically pleasing (or maybe I just have some great looking kids, hehe) and that's why I'm a repeat customer. What's more? The prices of the mini sessions are reasonable, and this is important especially when you're a parent who just wants some good photos of your kiddos as they age but can't afford an arm and a leg but your iPhone photos are just not up to par.
