Had been looking for a good quality office chair for a long time and they really take the time to find you "the perfect one". I bought two chairs one for myself and one for my significant other. I worked with Jake recently on my personal office desk and couldn't be happier, based on purchasing. Â *its yet to be installed*The store stock is plenty full of and Jake really was extremely patient, helpful to provide guidance on what would best fit my needs. What was most impressive was their software. Â I provided them dimensions and we worked to find the perfect. Â Updated review Installation techs were highly respectful of my home (walls, doors, floors) and had taken all trash and boxes with them. Â I was disappointed the desk didn't have a grommet near my outlet and spoke to JDF and they instructed me on how to cut one in and set me a plastic grommet in less than 24hrs! Â Overnighted! Â Just. Wow!Overall, I'd absolutely buy another desk and set up here. Â The experience was 5 + stars! Quality of product was great! Â Experience was great! Â Follow up was ever better! More...

Highly recommended. Â If you want to buy a used (or new) Herman Miller Aeron or Steelcase chair in the Boston area, this is the place to go. Â Today I bought an Aeron chair for about 1/2 the cost of what you pay for these chairs when buying brand new. Â Quite a good selection and high quality / like new condition. Â The best part is that this is a family run business (Jake and his dad, Joe), so you are supporting a local business and family operation. Â You also get peace of mind knowing that they have a technician who can repair your chair if anything goes wrong with it down the road. Â I'd much rather buy from a local person with a good reputation than from some unknown and possibly shady outfit online. By far the best service and prices around. I was in search for a stand up/sit down desk with electronic controls and a matching drawer / cabinet system for a home office setup. I completed a google search and noticed Joe's Discount Office Furniture. The showroom was farther than I'd like but I decided to make the trek anyway and I'm glad I did. When I arrived at the showroom I was greeted by a representative who was not pushy to sell items and was honest about the quality of the products they sell - he was genuinely sincere in fulfilling my needs at a cost that was reasonable. In the end I left with furniture for my home office that exceeds my expectations. I was so excited about the deals and the quality that my wife got tired of the excitement. To say Joe's Discount Office Furniture exceeded my expectations would be an understatement! This is one of the few cases where they truly go above and beyond in terms of service, price and selection. As an independent design professional with a home office studio, I honestly cannot imagine ever going to another furniture store again. Before I actually paid them a visit (it was just under an hour away from my location) I sent them a quick email regarding what I was looking for (a drafting-style chair, which is taller than the usual kind) and in less than an hour they responded, letting me know they were out of stock for the next few days in that style. This obviously saved me from making an extra trip and so I said I'd come a few days later after a new shipment was scheduled. Then on the day I was scheduled to come in, they made sure to have every drafting chair they had available all lined up for me, making my selection about as easy as possible. The buying process was completely smooth, and Jake who helped me out was thoroughly knowledgeable about each item. The showroom feature a whole range of designer and high-end office furniture pieces; a huge step up from anything you'd see at Staples or Office Depot, or even Jordan's for that matter. The chair I selected was technically "used" but I think was actually just a floor model from a larger store as it was literally in pristine condition. Not a scratch on it from top to bottom, it was definitely a higher end chair in terms of design and materials. In any case, the price tag was $275 which was much lower than I'd planned on spending. When I got home I looked up the retail price for my exact chair: $1100! If I was impressed with everything up until that point, I was blown away after finding that part out. More...

Sitting on a cloud thanks to the fine folks at Joe's Discount Office Furniture! After I was denied my request for a new chair at work, I was left with only one option. .. Go buy my own. I checked out a few at some of the big box stores; some were nice, potential purchases even, but then I remembered about this newer place down 28 in Salem, Joe's Discount Office Furniture! From the minute I set foot inside I was graciously greeted by both employee/co-owner, Jake, and their furry little store mascot, too. Jake helped me pick out the chair of a lifetime! No more back or butt issues for me, just straight up sitting on a cloud!! And it's not just chairs, they have literally everything you could ever need for your home or at work office!
