This food was so good. Eliana was a great server. The michilada was so goood. Just right! The cooks in the kitchen made the food very delicious. Starting from the chips to the salsa. Impressed. First time attending my girlfriend and I are michelada fanatics but unfortunately these weren't the best. But the food was really fresh and good atmosphere. My girlfriend highly recommends the shrimp cocktail!Now this past time I was beyond hungover all weekend and we all know the best cure is some homemade fresh menudo. I called it in prior to my arrival went home, and it was one of the best bowls of menudo I've ever had! We were referred by hotel we spent the nite at. There is a 20% discount when you show your hotel room key. Unfortunately our desk clerked told us after we returned from dinner.
They have a beer bloody Mary that was very interesting indeed. Food is priced every fairly and the service was great.

Been going to Jocys for about ten years. One thing I really appreciate is that they don't over salt everything. You can taste the food!

My daughter loves the shrimp quesadilla. It is unbelievable. Large grilled shrimp with grilled peppers/onions and just the right amount of cheese.
Super nachos are amazing.
So are the fajitas Mexicas which is beef, chicken and shrimp fajitas with lots of grilled peppers and onions. They grill their veges perfect. Just enough for the flavor and texture but not so they are mushy.
Instead of getting the boring refried beans, ask for whole beans on side. You won't be sorry.
Better than most Mexican restaurants cause they are more authentic and use a lot of fresh ingredients.
Give it a try and be prepared to return.

I ordered the Lengua en Salsa. Which the salsa is their chili Verde sauce. I could be very wrong, but I'm 95% sure it's from a can. It's exactly like the fast food Mexican places. I know chili Verde sauce in a can when I see it. It kinda ruined the taste of their delicious lengua. So I'll order it without the sauce next time. They're beans are amazing. Rice is ok, the kids loved their food. My daughter is a chili Verde fan, she likes the meat. But again she didn't enjoy the sauce either, it's especially hard for her cuz her dad ow me s a Mexican restaurant lol. So she knows Real Home Made Chili Verde sauce. Service was very nice.
