Jacob did our wedding on 9-9-18 in Cleveland tn. Jacob was professional and friendly from the first message I sent him. He did our engagement pictures and was super fun and easy to get along with. At our wedding Jacob hungout and took great pictures of the girls all day and he brought a second shooter Chase (who was also amazing!) Who hung out with the guys all day and got great pics of them as well! The first photos Jacob took of me were of me on the job and he nailed the timing and angles. I was very impressed because every picture people have taken of me on the job, I would look awkward and bad, but Jacob just knew where and when to snap the photo and I was very happy with the photos. A while ago I purchased from Jacob a mini session and used it for a couples photoshoot and he just knew what he was doing. He posed me and my boyfriend and the lighting was great. He was fast at capturing each pose. Normally an amateur like me would take about 100-150 photos in order to even get one I like, but Jacob just knows what he's doing and gets it done. I definitely recommend him! He's super friendly and to me it's important to feel relaxed with your photographer so that your photos look their best. This man is absolutely amazing. He will bend over backwards and get any shot you ask for / or catch shots of you that you didn’t ask for that are ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. I cannot say enough great things about Jacob. Where do I start? From the first message, he got back to me within 30 minutes and anything I needed or questions about anything, he was more than accommodating. I was quite the long distance away, but he was ready and willing to drive to me without any questions asked.
His personality is just so relaxed and personable that everyone loved him! I feel that is an important quality for people to really feel comfortable with the camera pointed at them. After the wedding, everyone talked about how he was such a cool guy and how he really added to the day with his great personality.
Now, onto the photos. AMAZING. Everything I wanted in my wedding photos! What drew me to him was his portfolio on his website. His use of color is amazing, but what really drew me in is the way he can capture pure emotion. Anyone can take a photo, but he is able to really capture the feeling of the moment and expressions of love, adoration, fun, silly, romantic. I cannot say this enough, so all I can do is post my photos so you can see how incredible they are. I was really picky about who I chose and I was taking forever to choose, but there was something about his photos that drew me in, and I was right! As a father of a 5 year old and 18 month old and being a photographer myself, it had been almost a year since we had family photos taken where I am actually in them. Jacob did n amazing job working with the kids and wa able to get some amazing photos of our family despite my kids doing everything in their power to not look at the camera. Jacob has the patience of a saint and was able to defuse every temper tantr and baby taking off in random directions all while keeping his cool and a smile on his face. Jacob did the photography for my wedding on May 5 and y'all if I could give this rating 10 stars I would! Jacob was incredible patient with me and so easy going, when I asked him for some crazy off the wall photos he didn't even hesitate! Jacob made us feel comfortable from start to finish like he was one of our longtime friends even though we met face to face for the first time the day of my wedding.
