JKR Portraits did our engagement and wedding photos, and we couldn't be happier! From the very beginning, Joseph was very polite, professional, and accommodating to our busy schedules. He was able to work with us to schedule our engagement photos very quickly to get them in time for our save the dates, and they were gorgeous! During the engagement session, he was willing to get dirty for a Bosque photo shoot, he got very creative with the locations and poses. The pictures were incredible! As for the wedding, firstly he took it upon himself to come to the rehearsal to scope out the venue. We got a package with 2 photographers, and he brought along Gideon. They showed up to the bridal suite a few hours before the wedding, and we'lre very helpful in keeping our timeline organized. They took detail shots of my attire, and of us getting ready. Then Joseph went with the bridal party to take our formal pictures, while Gideon took pictures of the groom's party. As for the ceremony, they were all over the place (in the right way). They got so many shots and angles, everything we wanted to see to remember our best day. They really captured our excitement about the day. The formal pictures after the ceremony were quick and efficient. Joseph and Gideon were great about directing us for photo ops. He got all of the important moments of the day, as well our loved ones enjoying the reception, and the moments we may have missed (we were a little busy!). The pictures were wonderful quality. He did some editing that was very tasteful. The website is a very user friendly platform that you can share with loved ones. He showed skills with his placement and lighting and made us look amazing. It was seamless. They were an extreme pleasure to work with, and will definitely recommend and use again in the future (baby pictures!) Joseph is an AMAZING photographer, he did both our wedding pictures and our maternity pictures. I’ve gone with other known photographers in albuquerque and he has been by far the best one, he actually cares about the special moments, this is his hobby and that’s what makes them so beautiful. My wife an I used JKR portraits as our photographer for our wedding, I cannot express our thanks enough. Joseph was very attentive, took pictures of everything we wanted, plus everything we forgot or couldn't think of! He made taking our wedding pictures flow smoothly, it was very formal, organized, and took some of the best shots I've seen. The quality of his photos are definitely worth it, with affordable prices. He was also very friendly and kind. He took a ton of photos, even though there were a couple thousand to edit give or take, we got them in a timely manner which was more than amazing. Joseph did my daughters Senior photo shoot and I absolutely loved his work and professionalism. Jessenia is shy, but Joseph was very kind, friendly, and respectful and made her feel very comfortable. He is also unbelievably easy to work with in setting up the shoot, the day of, and upon delivery of the images (love the app). I had my prom pictures and graduation pictures taken by him and they turned out great. He also had them ready for me really quickly so I was able to give my pictures to my family members. Super nice and makes sure you look good in all your pictures. Offers them in color and you can also get them in black and white.
