Where to begin with Jessi?! She is just THE BEST. A true professional and an expert at her craft. She did my hair and makeup for our engagement pictures and then flew to Colorado for my destination wedding. She did hair and makeup for myself as well as my sister, mom, and mother-in-law. Having her there meant that I was 100% relaxed as I *knew* she would do an amazing job and I would love how I looked. Brides, there isn't a price you can put on that for your wedding day!!! The rare thing too is that Jessi is equally amazing at BOTH hair and makeup. All four of us loved how we looked and it photographed beautifully. Also, it lasts incredibly long...through MANY happy tears and breezy wind- it looked perfect all day. I absolutely cannot recommend Jessi enough. This review is long past due but better late than never.  Jessi is hella fantastic!  I loved her and her team.  Jessi was highly recommended by the owner of the venue where we got married.  I took one look at her website and reviews and was sold.  She was so easy to communicate with and was top notch on everything.  We scheduled a trial run at my house and I was immediately at ease with her.  She is awesome, nice, no BS, so professional, and I felt like I could tell her anything.  She listened to what I wanted and considered the wedding theme and dress and flowers.  She knows what she's doing!  And she made me feel more beautiful than I have ever felt.  I looked like myself but a kickass version of myself.  The husband cried when he saw me at first look.  Her team was just as talented with hair and make-up and made the getting ready time before the ceremony so much fun.  I think my maid of honor is going to try and book Jessi and her team for her wedding if possible.  Your wedding day will not run perfect but let one thing ease your mind and be perfect, Jessi and her fabulous hands.....in a non dirty kind of way.......needs to do your hair and makeup. :)  I wish she could do mine everyday.  And not just because I'm lazy.  Thanks Jessi!!! I absolutely adore Jessi!! I don't think I have ever once liked my makeup done by someone else until my trial run with Jessi. She is amazing and multi talented! My whole wedding party and the moms all loved their hair and makeup. It all photographed so beautifully and I feel so lucky to have had her and her team for my wedding day. I used extensions for my wedding day and my hair is rather short and fine. After our trial run we noticed when all pinned back they had a pinkish hue. She took the time to meet me before the wedding, trimmed out all the reddish lowlights, and precurled them all before the big day. Jessi is an amazing artist and a wonderful person.  She did my hair and makeup for my Mehndi and my wedding and I felt so beautiful!  She is a complete perfectionist and knows her craft so well.  She transforms your look and is able to offer recommendations that suit your style and personality. I would recommend her to anyone for whatever event you choose. I am so glad that she and her team were able to tend to me, my family and friends. Jessi is a true professional and she has set an incredibly high bar for me in terms of working with MUAHs in headshot photography. She was super responsive through our communications and made sure to ask for feedback for clear direction about what I and my actress wanted. At the end of the day, we achieved the high quality work we hoped for in large part because Jessi is dedicated and passionate about her art. Jessi was absolutely fantastic! I never wear makeup and wasn't able to do a trial run (I live in California), but after talking to her on the phone, I had complete trust in her to make me look fantastic! I researched a lot, and she was confident in her answers, and I trust her to do best for both what's good for my skin as well as to make me look gorgeous! She is amazing and made us all look fantastic! She helped me feel comfortable with my double lashes (you were right! Those are totally the way to go!). She is a true artist and in a few moments, she was able to make us all feel beautiful She didn't do my hair, but she did help put the finishing touches when my friend wasn't sure what to do with my bangs.  Jessi knew exactly what to do!  Thank you so much!She made me feel comfortable, made me look amazing and natural at the same time!! Jessi from Firemakeup saved my wedding day!!! Jessi was not scheduled for my day (of course you can't have a wedding without a problem). With minimal notice Jessi swooped in to fix all of my bridal parties makeup. All she was missing was a cape. She is amazing and made my whole bridal party feel gorgeous. Jessi and her team came to us on my wedding day for hair and makeup. This was my first time to ever have make up done and wasn't going to at first. I am always afraid of the amount of makeup you have on and didn't want to look to "done up". After looking through her portfolio, I realized that she can make you look beautiful with a more natural look and got excited to have mine done. I'm so glad I decided to. I haven't received the photographer's photos yet, but I am shocked how good I look in the phone photos :) She made me beautiful! I was one of several bridesmaids in my college roommate's wedding. Our bride treated us to makeup and hair-styling from Jessi and her team. .. but it was more like a makeover! Jessi is a true artist, and as such her work is a reflection of herself. In just a few minutes, she's able to capture the essence of any of her subjects then use her arsenal of makeup to turn a gal into a masterpiece!She was able to accentuate my better features, letting my freckles shine through instead of packing on layers of foundation. She was also so sweet in complementing me throughout the application, "You have great skin," "Such long eyelashes," etc. Perhaps she knew this would help bring out my glow. I've never seen my skin look better. In just a few hours, Jessi and her team of 3 other stylists transformed a dozen women into models. And my goodness, my pal who got married was the most breathtakingly beautiful bride. I stumbled upon meeting Jessi when another make up artist fell through at one of my corporate events. I was in a pinch and she jumped in upon request and did a fantastic job. I could tell she knew what she was doing right away.  I have since worked with her on other corporate projects that were very successful as well. I hired Jessi for my wedding last week, and she did a beautiful job! I got tons of compliments on my hair and makeup. She was flexible, punctual, and professional. I had originally hired another makeup artist that did not work out, so I didn't contact Jessi until 2 weeks before the wedding. Since I was out of town, and I was working during the week, there was not a lot of time for me to have a trial makeup run. I was able to come the day before my wedding to have my trial done at her apartment, which I subsequently donned at the rehearsal dinner. On the wedding day, there were 4 of us who required hair/makeup or both in 2.5 hours. She arrived early, and she brought an assistant, Meredith, who was also fantastic. She is easy to get a hold of by phone or e-mail, and she was very organized. She also made me the loveliest lip color for touchups.I highly recommend her for weddings, and I would hire her again. Jessi is amazing!!!  She did our hair and makeup for a photo shoot with my band.  I only wish I could make myself look like this every day!  One picture I got was so good that I changed my profile pic on facebook to it.  That's a huge deal because I have never changed my profile pic ever since I started using it years ago.  During the shoot, one of the girls in the shoot (not me, of course :)  got a little hard to handle.  Jessi had it covered.  Very professional, and super nice!!! I've worked with Jessi on a number of television projects and am so happy with her work that I always request her on any job I get. She is meticulous and very detail oriented but also understands the wider needs of working on TV production. She consistently makes me look fantastic, no matter how long the work days are. Very highly recommended by me. I have always relied on Jessi Pagel and Fire Makeup Artistry to take care of my face when I need to get all dolled up. Very sad I lost her here in Vegas,  may have to travel to Austin next time I have to get my makeup done :) Jessi has always been professional, on time, and well prepared but for me the most important thing is looking good....and she gets me there. She explains what she is doing as she works, which is nice in case I want to give it a whirl. She brings her own makeup and supplies, but will also use mine per request.
