First time tonight and it was fantastic! Caipirinha was made fresh over crushed ice. Guac and chips…perfectly salted chips, not greasy, fresh ingredients in guac, great texture. We went for lunch and wow! Jaylen (spelling apologies) took care of my son and I for our Mommy date! We had a blast! We played Sequence waiting for lunch and JayLen was so kind to us! She really kept an eye and served our drink refills every time it got low. My son says “wow Mom she’s magic that she knows!” 🤣 Taco Salad with shrimp was perfectly cooked by Jesse and team! The best nachos I've ever eaten!! It was just one flavor after another with each bite being better than the last one. The pork was excellent! The steak taco is unbelievable and I had a spicy pineapple margarita to go with it and it was phenomenal! It was my first time there and shame on me for waiting so long. Food is decent but don't order carry out unless you have a ton of time to spare. We've ordered takeout twice and both times had to wait over 20 minutes on top of the original 30-40 minutes they said it would take.

WOW!!! Have been wanting to try this place for awhile, but always looked too crowded. We see why now. AMAZING food! We had the Cubano sandwich with yucca fries and the Mofongo with pork. Had to get a piece of passion fruit cheesecake to go, after having such a great meal, we knew it would be delicious and it was! Large portions and reasonable prices. My family and I have patronized Jesse Jays restaurant for about a year and a half. The food is some of the best and tastiest Latin cuisine that we’ve ever enjoyed. Up until now ( this evening) the wait staff was friendly and efficient. I called the restaurant at 6:19 pm. to place our order. A very young lady answered the phone and took my order. She advised me that they were very busy and the order would take an hour to an hour and 20 minutes till our order would be ready. I agreed, she took my food order, first name and cell phone number and told that I would receive a text message when the food was ready. At the 2 hour mark, no text from Jesse Jays concerning our food order. So, my wife and I drove down to the restaurant to see if the food order was ready. My wife went inside to pickup our order. She called me in a furious state to tell me that the restaurant had no record of our phoned in food order. I responded in disbelief, that they had lost our food order. My wife spoke with the on duty manager, she apologized for the mixup and offered to have our order ready in 20 minutes. We left with our food order, no discount or any customer reconciliation was offered. In closing my wife and we’re very disappointed with the way we were treated my the Jesse Jays staff tonight. Had the food truck to my neighborhood tonight and OMG. The tacos are AMAZING. The Cubano equally delicious, as were the red beans and rice, and plaintains. We preordered spicy pineapple margaritas and they certainly did not disappoint. Hope to have them back soon!! More...
