Jess is a wonderful photographer. We hired her to take our maternity photos and we are extremely happy that we did. Jess is sweet, friendly, and professional. From the moment we booked the shoot, she was very responsive with any of our questions. She gave us a lot of direction and made us feel very comfortable. My husband and I loved her positive energy and enthusiasm. She was also extremely patient working with our dog who doesn't always like to listen. I connected with Jess through a FB promotion. I was hesitant at first, since it was through social media, I wasn't sure if she was the real deal because of online scams, but rest assured she was worth it. I did a rush photoshoot in a week and let me tell you, she was the best photographer I've ever had. It's easy to reach her by phone or email. Her payment system was a breeze and she maps out what to wear and what to expect before hand through email. For the day of the photoshoot she directs you and family with poses with ease. I'm shy in front of the camera and intimidated by how to pose but Jess talks you into poses with such professionalism that your not intimidated. I asked her for a couple of photos last min to show case at my baby shower she sent me my gallery and I LOVED ALL the pictures!! Rarely that happens, but I have to say Jess has a gift to take pictures of expecting mothers. Also, a little touch that I loved was the song playing in the background when you view your gallery. We just did our maternity shoot yesterday (at UCR Botanic Gardens) with Jess and it was amazing! I came with quite a few issues per my constant state of forgetful unpreparedness and she had solutions for everything #bless She was so fun to work with, got me scheduled asap since I’m due next month, really took her time during the session to make sure everything was just right, and had a couple beautiful dresses for me to choose from since I didn’t have my own. Had a great experience with Jess Young Photography for my fiance' and I's engagement photos in Manhattan Beach. For our first photographer experience we were lucky! Prior to our shoot Jess had researched locations and positions for photographs so we wouldn't have to brainstorm on the beach. Even prior to the photos, she advised us on the best color/clothing options that would look amazing with the background.Jess was fun and energetic, making the photos easy for us to catch our natural-selves in action. Where do I start? ...Jess was AMAZING!! She worked well with my family which included people from newborns to 75+ at our family reunion.
