Amazing! Beyond the WOW factor! We booked another vendor, as we did not know about Jennifer, for our destination beach wedding. We were unhappy with what we were getting. We interviewed 3 photographers after that. Jennifer replied via phone and email to our endless amount of questions. She was over the top amazing. To say I feel lucky or blessed doesn't even cover all she did. She was half the price of our original photographer and not only were our pictures above that quality..she communicated, she toured our small venue, she took part and was present and then provided another day of absolutely amazing portraits. After that she communicated through every part of the process. She provided sneak peaks long before we expected and when we received our pictures...I was in awe. We also used her photo booth..might I say amazing and drone video coverage. WOW WOW WOW. Every guest was impressed and complimented our pictures. Jennifer was so over the top in every category. I had the joy of Jennifer working my wedding in January at Estate on the Halifax. Of all my vendors, she was my absolute favorite! She was more than happy to help me with the timeline and to talk through multiple options with me. She was honest, straightforward, and kind. Her (and her assistants) enthusiasm and joy were through the roof. They didn't miss a thing! Even during the reception. I have so many action shots to look back on and so many photos of my guests having a blast. I tend to be more introverted but she was so easy to work with and fun! I felt so at ease and safe with her. She didn't hesitate to lead me and my husband. She was so creative and her photos were exactly what I wanted! Her photos are straight out of a fairytale or dream. The angles and details that she highlights really create a one of a kind experience to look back on. I highly recommend using her services and I hope to be able to do a one year anniversary shoot with her! Everyone who sees the pictures swoons over how perfect they are. Jennifer was the photographer at my daughters wedding Amber and Kiril on Nov. 5, 2018..... .I know choosing a photographer is an important decision on such an important day. Well I can say , without a doubt you will be thrilled with Jennifer and her work. Jennifer is down to earth, easy to talk to, and work with. What do you love most about your job?
I love that every day is different. Every event is different, every couple. I have worked with all types of customers. Young couples, couples on their 3rd marriages... I've done weddings in mosques, in synagogues, I've worked with same sex couples, multi racial couples, fancy churches, and little beach elopements. Love is love, and as long as you're happy, I wish to document that emotion, and am truly blessed that I get to do so full time.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have a bachelors degree in art from the State University of New York, but what I feel has impacted my work the most is the almost 20 years of professional work for OTHER photographers. I was trained by professionals in the field, and learned concepts such as lighting, composition, and proper exposure, originally on film cameras. This meant I had to understand the complicated workings of the camera without being able to see the images on the LCD screen. I soaked up information from my time with a sports photographer, portrait photographers, and in the field training with wedding photographers BEFORE setting out on my own. When I worked for a local wedding photographer, and disagreed with the way they treated their customers, and the quality of the product they were putting out, I knew it was time to step out on my own. I utilize every lesson I've learned from all walks of photographer in my own unique style to this day.
