Life Coaching

I have just completed 18 weeks doing a life coaching journey called Self Love to Transform your Life, Health and Happiness. It is hard to put into words on how much Jennifer of Jennifer Andrea Coaching has helped me without starting from the beginning. In June 2019, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer I had a double mastectomy and then chemotherapy followed by radiation which it all ended in January of 2020. After that I had hysterectomy in 2020 which was my last and final surgery. I honestly went through everything and did what I was told by doctors and followed their recommendations to get the cancer out of my body. After going through that journey, I was ready to get back to normalcy, and celebrate being Cancer Free, but Covid hit and I with everyone was sent home and in lockdown.
I felt isolated again and stuck, I knew I needed a change but wasn’t sure how to change, I found Jennifer online and honestly I wasn’t sure what to expect. We talked for a bit and she did encourage me to interview other coaches to make sure I find the right fit before I make my decision.

After a week of interviews and feeling lost and overwhelmed, I received a follow up call from her and things just felt right. Within a week or two I started my 12 week journey that extended an extra 6 weeks.

Jennifer helped me recognize that I am not the same person I was before going through breast cancer. She helped me acknowledge my feelings and find gratitude and appreciation in the small routine things in my life and with my family. She gave me tools to improve my self-care and self-love when there were times I didn’t feel I could. I learned how to step back in stressful moments at work using mindfulness and breathing techniques. She encouraged more movement, staying on track with my health goals, ME time, and shifting my perspective through gratitude and surrender. The biggest habit change I made was acknowledging that is it okay to take time out for myself. I am waking up early in the morning and taking time to go for a morning walk and getting back into a routine. I listen to podcast or read with my morning coffee. Embodying a new way of being within this process was a huge step in gaining more confidence, positivity and love of my life, of the small things.

I realized that there were changes that I wanted to have also in my work. That was one of the biggest shifts that occurred was voicing my desire to find a new career that matched my lifestyle and values of what was important to me. The shift of career has reflected much of who I am becoming as a person.

With the help from Jennifer asking me relevant questions and facilitating exercises to identify what it is I wanted, I took the steps to update my resume, build on my interviewing skills and look for a new less stressful job which I actually found and will start at the end of our 18 weeks. What a great end of the journey. With Jennifer’s help I found myself again after being on hold for almost 2 years. I now feel unstuck and I am truly grateful. The coaching experience was so helpful, I added on another 3 sessions in a 6 week period to focus more on building my confidence.
I highly recommend Jennifer as your Life Coach. ……She supports you and listens, guiding you to find your inner motivation and keep you accountable in making positive change in your life.
