Jemil's Big Easy

Having spent 20 years in the south, I know good Cajun cookin' when I taste it and I've been waiting to try Jemil's Big Easy since having the privilege of having Jemil's cooking at a private party.  I was not let down.  I had the great fortune of going there on a night he was serving oyster po'boys.  OH MY GOD!!!!  I only got one and my brother wanted half.  Had I known that he liked oysters too, I probably would've gotten 4 of those things.  They were loaded with freshly fried oysters, pickles, sauce and the bread was delicious, fresh and crusty just like it should be.  We polished off the gumbo, jambalaya and red beans and rice today for lunch.  And their fries were just the right mixture of sweet and spicy and the dipping sauce I scooped out at the end with my fingers.  I'll be back again many, many times.
