Wife wanted to eat tamales for breakfast, si I took a drive to Jazmín bakery, I wanted to try both the pork and chicken tamales, let me tell you the maza was excellent not greasy at all, if they had put just a bit more meat they would got a 5 star the meat was like spread over the flat tamales on both of them see for your self.

I have to update my review because Jazmin's Bakery has redeemed themselves. They have the best tamales and pastries in town and every time I went after posting that last review has always been a good experience. They probably  got new workers or something to replace the last people, so if you want really good service go here instead of the Way Station. I went there today and they ignored me for over twenty minutes while at Jazmin's I got service right away and efficiently!!! Thank you for making my day!!! More...

Second time coming here not like the first one was great . The tamales are pretty bland and have more masa than anything else. Today I tried the champurado and bread pudding . What I had was definitely not champurado whatever it was it was pretty gross. The bread pudding was so sweet I couldn't take another bite . I had to throw both in the trash . More...

Haven't been here in about 10 yrs. Forgot why, but reminded today. Got a dozen tamales, half pork half chicken, they we're out of the cheese ones. The chicken were super dry & overly spicy. The pork were worse! They have to be about a week old to be that bad. Extremely dry & flavorless. All masa with a string of dry meat. Very disappointed. Thru them out. Bought sweet bread, also hard!The rest of the family thought exactly the same so it wasn't just me. Almost $30 for a dozen! I will pay $50 if they were good, oh well, will consider it a donation. I could not be more impressed with my recent business at Jazmin's Bakery. I was doing a Day of the Dead event at a local school and needed 9 dozen pan dulce (conchitas). They even offered us a small discount to help out a local school and even included some Day of the Dead Bread to share with the students. The conchitas were fresh and delicious and many students had never even tried these treats before and they loved them. I will definitely encourage others to do business here, not only because it's delicious but they also went out of their way to help a local school in the community. More...

Beverly H,I'm sorry for your friend having cancer. I feel sorry for you, do you realize you are talking about a cake? You sound like a spoiled rotten child. I"m not defending jazmins, but honestly in a time where people are dying en masse due to Covid, people can't find work, and we have a horrible president driving up cost and making life extremely unbearable, here you are complaining like a six year old about a stupid cake. You're friend doesn't care about the cake. She's happy to have your support.. I saw your post about the cake on the neighborhood app, and honestly all that drama over a cake.. give me an effen break you spoiled rotten child. TOTALLY SCREWED UP MY ORDER !My best friend was diagnosed with breast cancer on Monday.  I was going to spend the day with her yesterday so on Wednesday I ordered a small round cake since wedding cake is one of her favorites.  And let's face it, if there's ever a time to "eat your feelings" this was it ! This was to be a very special cake to show her support and to share with the many friends who are coming by to wish her the best on her journey. I specifically asked for buttercream frosting and to have light pink decor in the shape of the breast cancer ribbon and then "Go team Gena"It wasn't ready at 10am as promised, they hadn't started the customization and the person who took the order had selected fuscha instead of breast cancer pink!So I finally get the cake, drive to my friends house and after opening the cake and shedding a few tears, she cuts the cake, only to realize ITS NOT BUTTERCREAM - it's whipped cream which doesn't taste like wedding cake at all!!!So I called them this morning and they tell me they have to pull the order and speak with the girl who took the order and will call me back.  Instead of the manager calling me back, the order taker called me back.  I told her how special this cake was and what a huge disappointment that she didn't get anything right!  She asked if I could bring the cake back and I told her no, I left the cake with the friend.  She said their policy is to only give a 20% refund. I don't care about the money but the principal.  I ordered an item, it was completely wrong, you ruined a special cake for a very special person and you want to give me 20% back ?  Forget it - I don't even want the money but I wanted an apology which was given half assed.  She acknowledged the order was buttercream but she delivered whipped cream.  The bakery is called Jazmins Bakery 24330 Main Street, Newhall I just want you all to know so you don't trust this place with any special occasions because they don't deliver your order correctly and don't stand behind their products !!! Co-workers sent me to pick up tamales. Busy place, plenty of parking in the back or if you are lucky to find a place out front, there is 2 hour parking. There's another Jazmin's a block away which is the restaurant, don't make the mistake I made and end up there first. This is a busy place, line at times will go out the door, however, line goes quick. All the bakery items look delicious. All the employees are hard working, friendly and quick. Didn't take long to have my order taken and done. The tamales were exceptional. Glad I was sent to pick them up. I plan to return maybe for more tamales or some of the delicious looking bakery items. Came in today and bought sweet bread and tamales. I spent $50.30.....Some of the bread was decent, but the conchas were hard on the bottom. Tamales were really dry and not made today. They were luke warm and hard/dry.  They clearly lacked manteca. I called the store right away. According to Brenda, the tamales are supposed to be dry. I have tried them many a time and they never disappointed me until today. I was offered some sauce to go on top of the tamales. It was a waste of money!  $27.99 for a dozen!!I requested to speak to the manager. Brenda did say Martha would be calling me back in about a week. This is my favorite place to buy tamales. The prices have increased over the years but it's worth it. You cannot find another place with good tasting tamales. I would highly recommend!

Ordered a birthday cake and the bread inside the was obviously a couple days old. The bread was hard & dry. The whip cream was cracked. Would not recommend the cake. Not sure about the other items as we only ordered a cake. More...
