The first time they came to our campus I was blown away by the robust flavors so I requested they come again. Growing up in a Nigerian home and having friends from Trini, Ja and Haiti I know good plantains when I see them and Pon Di Road did not disappoint me! The jerk chicken is the bomb, peas and rice rock, cabbage kills, sweet potato fries are delicious and chicken patties bless my life!!! Cant wait for the 3rd visit. Jamaica Pon Di Road came to Klein Forest High School today for staff lunches and, oh my goodness, what a great meal! I had the jerk pork sandwich, which was so tender, fresh, and flavorful. ..right down to the mixed field greens on top! The sandwich came with fries (which I told my co-worker I wasn't even going to eat) and they were some of the best I have ever had. Needless to say, I ate more than a few :) I ordered the rum sauced plantains for a side dish, and I could have made a meal of those alone. I'm sincerely hoping to see Jamaica Pon Di Road back at KFHS again, and if I don't, they are well worth a road trip! More...

Delicious authentic jamaican food, yes just the type you eat back home. my jerk chicken meal was top of the line, my sweet potatoe fries good to the last bite. When we came to the Woodlands Family Fest today and spotted a Jamaican flag, we knew we had to go check out your truck. Awesome food! Very nice people working as well. We had the beef patties & jerk fries. Patty was flaky and filling was great, nice spice. Fries were thick & seasoning was yummy, could use a tad bit more heat!
