Long overdue review. I started working out with Jeremy in May. Since then, I have noticed my body change. I've gone from soft to muscular in just a short few months. I have been slow in writing a review for these past months because Jeremy is such a treasure that I was worried that he would get too busy!  I looked for a gym near my office and read the reviews on Yelp and have been a client ever since. I am a newbie to the gym but realized that as I entered my 50s I needed to gain some strength and couldn't do it on my own. I can't say enough about how great Jeremy is. He is professional and responsive, extremely supportive but appropriately tough. I love Jeremy White as a trainer. In working out w him and dieting for a month I lost 6 pounds! There are plenty of parking in the back and two separate rooms to train. 3 treadmills and a few other cardio machines plus weights. Everyday I trained w him, he kept it fun and different. Jeremy is an amazing trainer! From his quick (same day) response to my initial inquiry to his very prompt communication to his continual encouragement. As well as the insane results I have seen in my body. I am grateful I found him. Under his care I have surpassed my fitness goals. And now I have new ones I never thought possible. I met Jeremy a year ago and decide to take the plunge on getting back in the gym with the help of a professional. As a medically retired veteran I was at my lowest with the fast weight gained and beginning depression, I needed to make a change. He was the best decision I have made. Jeremy has helped me get back on track and loose over 17 pounds. Jeremy has been great in modifying any exercise if it affects or worsen my disabilities. He is understanding when you had a low week (weight in every meeting) but encourages and is always honest to get you back on track. Jeremy goes beyond the gym, he constantly checks on me on my off days to make sure I'm stretching, resting and eating healthy. He tracks my food and has taught me about eating healthy and portion control. He helped me research healthy breakfast and always ask for a photo of my food to make sure that what I'm eating is good for me. That type of effort and accountability is worth every penny because it's so easy to eat bad when no one is looking. Jeremy is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!!!! He deserves more than 5 stars!!! I lost over 20 lbs training with him so far. Anytime I have a question regarding training or meal prepping, he is always happy to help and readily answers all my questions. Even when I've fallen off the wagon a couple of times (because let's face it - almost all delicious foods have carbs ), he is never judgmental and motivates you to keep going. I've never had a personal trainer before, and I was relatively new at working out when I first started with Jeremy. I've always had a hesitation when it comes to working out at the gym because I didn't know how to start/what to do. Jeremy was very patient with me in the beginning as I was transitioning into working out and getting used to the equipment at the gym - for that I am eternally grateful!!! He is very adept at teaching you the basics and how to modify/intensify each movement/exercise as you improve. I feel so fortunate to have found Jeremy through yelp. Jeremy is a fantastic trainer and he is always motivating you to be your best self. Not only are you getting challenging and effective workouts, but you're also receiving assistance with staying on track in regards to nutrition. I will be honest and say this is where I struggle- with sticking to a meal plan. But Jeremy makes sure to guide me and keep me on track. He cares enough to text me and make sure I'm eating well when I forget to send pictures of my meals- I appreciate this gesture more than he knows. It really means a lot and I know Jeremy has my back and is looking out for me. Workouts are an intense 30 minutes of weight training then 30 minutes of cardio. I've been going to Jeremy since March, and I've definitely had progress. If you follow his meal recommendations and workouts then you are guaranteed to get in great shape! All the positive reviews about Jeremy are spot on. This is a guy who cares about your success. When I met Jeremy just three months or so ago, I had never done any serious weight training in my life. He helped me improve my diet, and crafted a workout routine that helped me put on muscle pretty fast. I'm the heaviest and strongest I've ever been (for me that's a good thing since I'm trying to bulk up), I can finally bench press a good amount of weight, I've reached all time highs in how many push-ups I can do in a row, weight I can lift, reps I can complete, etc. AND my shirts fit me in a way that is a lot more impressive (MUSCLES) -- even family and friends have begun to notice and compliment me. It's been about 3 months now and I am glad I decided on Jeremy to help get me to achieve a healthier lifestyle and get rid of some stubborn weight.  I wanted to wait awhile before I wrote a review so I could actually give an honest and factual opinion.  He has helped me stay accountable and motivates me to achieve more than I think I am capable of doing.  I actually look forward to working out!  When we met at the consultation he told me he could help me achieve my goals in a realistic time frame and so far I am down 20+ pounds. If you are willing to put in the work,  Jeremy will guide you in the right direction to help you get there.  I definitely don't feel like I am throwing my money away. I was looking for a personal trainer and decided to try Jeremy since I had previously taken some of his bootcamp classes. I've been using him for about a month and have no plans on ever stopping . He pushes you while tailoring every workout based on your capabilities, offers nutritional plans, and is extremely flexible to accommodate anyone's schedule. He is tough,which a lazy person like me needs, but he truly wants to see you succeed and is passionate about what he does. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a trainer. More...

What started off as a groupon voucher from Jeremy turned into 15 workout sessions so far. As a very uninspired/lazy early 30s male that has never walked into a gym, I was pushed daily from my meals to my proper form at the gym. The workouts that he puts together are different per person. It all depends on your own personal goals and what he thinks is best for you. He is sculpting your body like a true artist. Jeremy really cares about his clients and is very patient. Let me start by saying that Jeremy is awesome!  He'll kick your butt to whip you into shape, but he does it in a nice way =)  I'm on my 4th week with him and have already lost about 8lbs.  I probably could have lost a little more,  but I'm sorry Jeremy...  I'm a cheater!!!  I've got a sweet tooth and I'm trying,  but sometimes I just gotta sneak that one bite of chocolate cake or something.  Honestly though,  you will see results with Jeremy, but you got to push yourself as well.  He ain't no genie that will snap his fingers to give you the body you want.  If he tells you to "run to that corner and back" you better run.   Lol.  If you want the best results you really gotta listen to the man.  That's just my opinion though.   I'm not trying to waste anybodys' time at the gym.  My goals are my goals and Jeremy is here to guide me.  No babysitting here.  Gotta work on that sweet tooth though.  Hehe.  I'll post my before and after when I'm ready and it's going to be amazing!!!  By the way 8lbs may not seem like much,  but I measure myself at home and I've already gone down from a 35 1/2" waist to 31" More...

Jeremy is a great trainer! 5:30 AM workouts were tough for me, but his workouts gave me great energy and positivity through the rest of the day! He also has you send him pictures of what you are eating throughout the day and gives you advice on what to add/cutback in your diet. I started working out with Jeremy almost six months ago, and I have never felt better! I do 2-3 sessions a week and I can't imagine ever going back to working out without him. I've not only seen great results, more importantly I feel amazing. It's evident that Jeremy is educated in what he does - he always has smart answers to my (sometimes smart ass) questions. I was searching for somewhere and someone to help me begin my fitness journey, and I found Jeremy. I did 10 personal training sessions with him and feel better than ever. Jeremy's great he will motivate you, give you great nutritional advice and best of all he had me send pictures of the food I ate daily. Which was perfect, because he would let me know when I was eating the wrong foods and when the portions were too large, etc. Workouts were intense and for sure have you dripping in sweat! Which is always a good thing. I definitely feel like i'm in much better shape and I've maintained motivation to stay fit, he gave me the perfect start to my fitness journey. After attending Jeremy White's private 10 sessions, I am happy to say that I feel more energized, healthy, and confident. I would definitely recommend taking his private sessions if you do not have experience with working out or even if you want to challenge yourself but do not know how to proceed . Jeremy ensures that you push yourself to your limit and encourages you to always try your best.     In addition, during the sessions he would have me send pictures of my meals; this was very effective as it pushed me to not fall into tempting junk foods. I've been attending Jeremy White's "Early Bird Boot Camp" for almost 2 years. I first bought a Groupon in June 2015 and was immediately hooked. Even now at full price, Jeremy's class is worth it. No way would I remain this motivated at a regular gym!Some of the motivation stems from the fact that you sign up for the Boot Camp a month at a time, committing to 3 classes per week (MWF) for 4 weeks, from either 5:00-6:00am or 6:00-7:00am. If you miss because of laziness, that's it, you aren't getting that class back! (Although if you miss because of illness, work, or a vacation, let Jeremy know and he'll work with you.)Most of the motivation comes from Jeremy himself. He is a great trainer because he works with your abilities, no matter your fitness level. Jeremy is tough, but in a positive, encouraging way. (There is no yelling in this Boot Camp!) During his class, you go at your own pace and aren't forced to compete against the others in your class. Despite this, you will work hard and get in great shape! The other people in the class are always very welcoming too. A great energy abounds! Jeremy's Boot Camp typically takes place outdoors in the CSUN parking lot. In the winter months or when it rains, Boot Camp is at a little gym in Granada Hills. You are responsible for bringing your own hand weights and yoga mat, and Jeremy will often provide other equipment. The class combines running (or in my case, jogging) with weights and plyometric exercises. You get in and get out in an hour. Try Jeremy's "Early Bird Boot Camp" - you won't regret it! More...

I have been doing this boot camp with Jeremy for 4 months now.  I tried it on a Groupon deal out of pure desperation (figuring that if I didn't like it, I didn't need to feel badly about never going back). I was working out 5 days a week for over a year with almost no pounds lost. I am so glad I found Jeremy. I lost 10 pounds in my first month.  I am now down 20, and I am down 2 pant sizes.  I was scared to try, but so happy I did.  From a girl who never wants to do anything more than take a nap, I now happily get up early and fit in an amazing workout from 5-6 am, and ready to attack my day.Jeremy is able to motivate and instruct with his great attitude and get results for everyone who shows up.  He changed my entire outlook on working out when I was ready to give up for good.  As a mom to two young kids, I needed something that would work for my schedule and this is absolutely perfect.  I exercise under the stars before my body knows what it is doing! :-) And it beats being inside a smelly, stuffy gym. I am light-years ahead of where I was 4 months ago, and I am hooked! Great way to get fit!  Jeremy does a fine job mixing it up and pushing you to do your best without pushing you too far.  No matter what, you end up with a workout to be proud of and have the rest of the day in front of you.  Get a decently thick and durable yoga mat...as you'll feel the pavement without it. This is a bootcamp that is very challenging, but if you hang with it you'll find it quite rewarding. I came across Jeremy's Early Bird Bootcamp through Groupon. I made up my mind it was time for me to get serious about my health and start exercising again. His workouts are offered 3 days a week M,W,F 5am-6am & 6am-7am. FYI... Bring water, free weights, towel (you're gonna sweat a whole lot) & a yoga mat (preferably the thick one for extra cushion since the workout takes place in a parking lot on cement!) Oh ya, and Jeremy is a trainer at a private gym, so if it rains, or it's too windy, whatever the case may be his class will meet there. So rain or shine your butt is still going to workout! The class consists of a lot of cardio (running) and weight training. Lots of reps and sets, but Jeremy is focused on burning that fat and building muscle. Everyone works at their own pace. Make sure you are exercising with proper form rather than feeling the pressure to keep up with others who are faster. Workouts differ each session and challenge you to the max.It is now the end of my 12th week and between the inches of my waist, the number on the scale & seeing some definition in my arms (of course this is eating healthy too) I am looking forward to future results.  Highly recommend this class! The BEST workouts I have had! I have noticed a change in my body in only 2 weeks! I have taken multiple group glasses at the gym and they do not come close to the workouts I have received from this boot camp. Jeremy the instructor takes your limitations into account but still pushes you to reach your full potential. Early Bird Bootcamp is awesome! If you can get yourself out of bed, you will have the motivation and support from your fellow boot-campers and the instructor, Jeremy to complete each session. You work at your own pace throughout the entire hour-long class with the weights and yoga mat of your choosing. You will find that you push yourself beyond what you think you are capable of to keep up with some of the "regulars". That part is fun! I also loved that no two classes were identical. I have known and worked out with Jeremy for about 6-7(?) years now and there is no turning back. I was not raised an athlete, never worked out regularly and wasn't even allowed to play sports so naturally, it wasn't a priority. I am very picky and wouldn't even work or in front of my family. Now, I love working out and my days aren't complete without it! As a smaller sized Asian female, I've always struggled with losing weight esp at a decent rate...that and gaining muscle. I could gain a pound in a day but it would take 3 months to lose half of it. That said, I was 130 before my wedding and Jeremy got me down to 118. Not only that, he was mindful enough to ask the cut of my dress and made sure to work out crucial areas like my back and tricep muscles. That's what you can expect from Jeremy. He brings out your own greatness. My gym sessions feel more like counseling sessions sometimes and I have to say, meeting him was the single most powerful and meaningful moment in my physical/mental wellness. After a session I feel so fulfilled and bright in every way. If you have an opportunity to workout in the Muscle by Russell environment, all the better! Even if I'm away for a while or it's the holidays, he'll send me tips and exercises to do away from the gym. Jeremy is awesome! The 6 am workout is def killer but I loved starting my day off strong. It just somehow resonates throughout the day. ..I'm sure it's the endorphins. In any case, he def switches if up everyday. It was M, W, F. I def have notified a change in my thighs and triceps since joining. It's fun, and the people you end up doing it with egg you on. I wish my knees were a tad stronger but he alternates certain exercises to work with you like for example the leg lunges. Def recommend him! More...

Northridge Early Birds Bootcamp is on my top list for group workout. I had an unforgettable experience by attending 1 month boot camp class with Jeremy. I always heard about boot camp workouts but I never really experienced till a few months ago that I was exploring on Groupon and saw Northridge Early Birds boot camp deal. Before buying the deal, I checked out the website, the schedule was pretty challenging:3 times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)and 3 different times early in the morning (4 am, 5 am, and 6 am)Yes, it looks an intensive class but at the same time exciting. I asked my sister if she wants to join me and she shouted out that was exactly what she always wanted to do. Anyway, long story short, two sisters committed to sign up for one month boot camp class.Sep 14th was the first day of boot camp. We attended at 5 am sharp. The whole group was about 20 people and Jeremy the coach.Boot camp workout is not a joke. A couple of times happened that I was ABOUT to give up BUT then by looking at the rest of people that they were trying so hard and sweating. I told myself "I won't give up and I would do this challenge for a month". During this one month, we went above and beyond of all types of challenging workouts. We were working on our whole body and building strength and endurance. The workouts could be very tough but Jeremy makes it very motivational and exciting with a loud sensational music. Jeremy is a great instructor and motivator. He has a very positive attitude and provides clear instructions and different ways to modify exercise. Jeremy thought me how to do pushups by keeping a nice straight line all the way down to my heels. I am so glad that I finally learned how to position my body and do pushups with confident.One month is over now; me and my sister kinda miss the class. I am considering going back once my work schedule returns to normal. I'm a pretty busy mom of four boys, ages 1-8. I stumbled across Jeremy's Earlybirds Bootcamp about 4 months ago when I was done with my post-pregnancy body.  I have always "worked out," as a former Division I college athlete, but I needed something to kickstart my motivation and Jeremy was it!I love this class! Earlybirds provides three different class times to suit its customers. The variety in the workout is awesome.  For years I have been running half marathons and training with running in the morning.  But when I joined Earlybirds, and experienced weightlifting and cardio in a variety of exercises, I saw HUGE results in my appearance, stamina, and overall health that I have not seen for a long time. I can do push-ups now?!? Yow!Jeremy is a great guy too.  What I find incredible is that he knows his students by name, and there's a lot of them!  He also knows everyone's strengths and limitations and is able to push people individually to try their best... which is a hard feat to accomplish since everyone is at their own level and goes their own pace.There's a family vibe at the class and people motivate each other as well.  Must be because Jeremy just exudes hard work, professionalism, and just a love for helping people.I highly recommend this class for any age, man or woman, at any level of training.  I can't thank Jeremy enough.  My husband thanks him too... ;) More...

Jeremy is a great instructor, and he always varies up the exercises so that you never get bored. I thoroughly enjoyed his classes and hope to continue. if you are trying to embark on a new lifestyle and new exercises but don't have the time after work, this is definitely the program to do. More...

I found this boot camp on Amazon Local, and I'm so glad I did!  Jeremy's boot camp classes are extremely challenging but still fun.  We do something different every day, so you never get bored.  The workouts incorporate not only weight training, but running as well, so you really feel like you are getting a total workout.  Thanks for the awesome classes Jeremy, you are the best! I originally found this Boot Camp on Living Social and couldn't pass up the price so myself and a few friends decided to try it out for a month. Jeremy (trainer) will definitely push you and keep you motivated the whole way through. He switched up the workout every meeting and I always woke up sore the following day! I I noticed a huge difference in the way my clothes fit and also my endurance in general. The whole experience was great the class-size the location and the vibe. I'll be back Jeremy thank you!
