Really cool spot. There was jazz music playing that evening. We didn’t get any food but we sat at the bar for our cocktails and this place really takes car in their mixology. Most Excellant service and Delicious Southern Comfort Food. I tried the Grilled Porkchop with Goat Cheese Polenta cake and grilled corn. The chop was Extremely moist and cooked to perfection, the grilled veggies and Polenta cake complemented the meat nicely. My husband had their signature Fried Chicken with smokey gravy, garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. He enjoyed it so much, he cleaned his plate. We love Iva Lee's . Fun place and great food.
We were there on Tuesday evening and the place was jumping. We sat where we could watch the bar and people were dancing and having fun.
But it was quiet where we were so we could carry on a conversation. Go and have some fun.

Very nice restaurant with a neat interior. Great drink selection, my mojito was fantastic and refreshing. My husband's steak was delicious and we both highly recommend getting that. I'm from New Orleans and I felt like I was home with the live jazz and the cocktail menu. Good vibes. People of all ages, colors, moods, genders, etc. Nice to find a place in socal that is welcoming to all. I'll need to try the food next time. Feels like stepping into a fine New Orleans establishment with dark, comfortable booths and tables and stamped tin ceilings. The staff is warm and friendly, the foods is excellent southern (with some Cali influence) fare. They host live entertainment on weekends and the band was great and eclectic Voodoo Groove, playing blues and funk.
