Ithaca To Go has excellent customer service. Any time there is an error in my order, they go above and beyond to make it right. They are there whenever I have a question, and they reply quickly. Delivery times are usually accurate, and reasonable. They have a wide variety of restaurants to choose from as well. I highly recommend them and I will continue to order through Ithaca To Go! More...

The customer service is one of the best from the food delivery options I've tried. Â I've ordered several times and the staff always communicates if there is an issue with the restaurant or the order. Â Good luck getting any communication from Doordash or Grubhub (they will just cancel the order and not even tell you, sometimes not even refund you). Â I've had 2 orders delivered later than quoted but was kept in the loop the entire time and given a discount on the delivery. Again used Ithaca To Go to order from Hai Hong in Collegetown and my rating for Ithaca To Go remains a 5 star. Â My assigned driver was Rithy, and the Ithaca To Go site showed a picture of him, so I knew who to expect at my door. Â Again, my order was complete, piping hot, with no errors. Â And Rithy was polite and professional. Â I'm really not sure why others have had such bad experiences since my experiences have been only positive. Great for getting delivery from places who don't do delivery. I got everything I ordered and the waiting period was reasonable. 4 stars and not 5 because service and delivery fees were a little high and there was no explanation about who keeps the money, the driver or the company. I always use them for getting food from places that won't deliver. Sometimes i need REAL ribs and not skinny little things you get from chinese delivery. Even though it costs a little extra its worth it to me. I saw someone mention drivers expect tips like its a bad thing. The drivers aren't paid hourly and they survive on the tips. Its important to them so don't feel they are trying to rip you off. You are helping them more than you realize. Enjoy the ribs! More...

Pros: They deliver food from some of the best restaurants in Ithaca (the ones that don't deliver) for a reasonable fee. Depending on the restaurant you choose, your food often arrives quickly and the drivers are quite courteous. When the delivery is slow, it is usually the restaurant's fault. I often see Ithaca to go drivers waiting at restaurants while I am eating out.Cons: Their online and phone customer service is a bit lacking. If for some reason the delivery is slower than promised, an item is missing, or you have a special discount promotion, expect none of these issues to be resolved by Ithaca to go. They may promise a refund, they may promise to apply your "Ithaca car share discount" which is supposedly $2 off delivery for all car share members, but if you check your credit card these things never happen. The most annoying thing is that they keep on wasting my time with false promises, which leads to multiple calls on my part. I'd rather they just be honest and say "We don't accept the car share discount anymore, please contact car share so they know to stop promoting our business" or "sorry our system doesn't allow for refunds, here is a coupon code or how about I place a free second order for you". Customer service is super helpful. They helped me order a couple items not on the menu and emailed me with an adjusted invoice once they verified prices with the restaurant; saved a bit of money too! They sent me email updates all through the order/delivery process and the delivery person was friendly. 4 stars instead of 5 due to wait time of 1.5 hrs. + 15 minutes of waiting for their phone not to be busy. That was within their time estimate but total time is too high for local delivery IMO. More...

I have ordered from them numerous times, and they are always at my door earlier than I expect them to be. Their website is wonderful and they serve a lot of restaurants in the Ithaca area. The delivery fee is well worth it if you want to eat Waffle Frolic or Aladdin's without leaving the house. :) More...
