This establishment was formerly called Antonio's but now is The Italian Bistro. I have found a new favorite eatery in Wilmington. I've worked near the North End of Boston famous for it's superb Italian restaurants but the food here matches them! Small restaurant but excellent wait staff and chefs. The have a very generous menu. Specials through the week. Home made pasta dishes and they accommodate requests. I could eat there every day! They also sell their home made marinara sauce and delish! salad dressings (my fav is the shallot vinegarette) The food comes out piping hot and made to order. (no wimpy pasta!!) Their meatballs are better than the ones made by my Nonna AnnaMaria! I want their recipe. Portions are generous and I'm always taking some home (for the next meal or midnight raid to the frige) They even have a simple points reward system for your phone. In my case they add up fast! Amazing Restaurant, chill vibe and literally the best wait staff in town. The manager, Kyle is a true leader and belongs in the service industry. Ginger, the guy whipping Pizzas up front is absolutely KILLING IT with the specialty pies, and Scott is an absolute prodigy in the realm of pasta dishes! TRY THE MARCO! The Italian Bistro in Porter's Neck was fantastic. The quality of the food was top-notch and the staff was incredibly friendly. We went in at an incredibly busy time 5 p.m. write for the dinner rush. And while we did have to wait for our food it was completely understandable and the staff was very amenable. The sizes of pizza are very generous and their pasta is delicious.
