My husband and I biked over and decided to do the wine and beer tasting. What fun! I’m not really a wine drinker but this was a fun experience and I would highly recommend it. We recently had the honor of having done our wedding celebration this past weekend at this beautiful winery! It was a year in the making and Haley was a pleasure to have helped us through it, from fine tuning the little details to the end result. Whatever she was able to have the winery provide for us she saw to it and was always responding promptly. Rebecca the pastry chef, what can I say? Hands down to an amazing job on our guava filled marble naked cake! It was an absolute hit with everyone! Hats off to the in house chef who catered our dinner, everyone enjoyed their meal, some went for seconds as quite a few guests did not show. The wait staff for the night did an amazing job from guest table set up, clearing tables even to my small requests for our daughter. If we could do it again we would pick the winery all over. I came here the other day with a friend for a tasting and Natalia was our bartender. She was so friendly, super funny and very knowledgeable! I don't really care for fruity wines, so Natalia recommend a red wine from South Africa and it was so delicious that we drank two bottles there and we both bought one to take home! I have visited almost every single bar and restaurant around this area and I have to say that Island Grove is definitely one of the best bar/rest I have been to. The place looks amazing and very clean there food is awesome and the service is not only great but professional. Something that will amaze you is the knowledge they have about there products. One of there bartenders Andres took the time to explain to us the composition of every wine we tried including some of the beers and that is something a lot of bartenders do not exercise so to me it says a lot about Andres service and you can tell he is compromise with his job.
