Tara was my hair stylist on my wedding in August last year and I can’t say enough good things about her as a person and her incredible work! She is absolute magic and can do all these amazing things with your hair. When I first did my trial with her, I knew I found the perfect team to handle all the glam for my big day! She is so sweet and listens to your wants and needs. She’s very open to changes and doesn’t impose her own ideas on you. She truly makes you the priority and ensures that you look your best on your big day. I wanted to write this review because the service I received was beyond anything I could have ever wanted on my wedding day.
And if you are looking for who to ask for, make the smart move and ask for Tara.
Tara from the moment I met her made me feel comfortable and put me at ease. I went to her for my consultation nervous that she would not be able to tame my crazy hair and I would have to just settle on a style. But she took her time and made me feel special, wanted to hear my opinion and showed me different styles until I said yes.
On my wedding day she came to my hotel to work on my brides maids where she continued to make everyone feel comfortable and happy to be there. She made us smile and laugh with her personality.
Tara then met us at the venue and worked on my hair still bringing her positivity to what can be a stressful day.
Her prices were more than fair and I received five star celebrity treatment. I would recommend her every time to every person I meet.
Thank you Tara for making me feel beautiful on my wedding day.

My fiancé and I just had to cancel our wedding due to a travel ban/coronavirus issues, but I still want to leave reviews for the people we worked with during the planning process. Tara was so awesome, and I had an amazing bridal preview experience with her. My hair and makeup were perfect! I am not local to San Diego and she was so accommodating of my schedule and might be the nicest person I've ever met. She also planned a great timeline to complete all the hair and makeup for my bridesmaids, without having to force everyone to wake up too early. I'm bummed that we didn't get to work with each other on my wedding day, but I based on my bridal preview I know my hair and makeup would have been stunning! More...

Tara is AMAZING! First of all, she is literally the sweetest person! She did my hair for my wedding this past October and it was absolutely perfect! It held all night and I didn't have to worry about it at all. All my bridesmaids also loved their hair and were so happy with how it turned out. A heart of gold and a true hair artist!Tara was absolutely a life saver, going above and beyond to make sure all the little details were taken care of on my daughter's wedding day. In between doing the bride's hair (gorgeous!) and starting to work on mine, she managed to walk our dog and even steamed my silk evening gown! Tara also volunteered to make two separate trips to first drive my daughter (the bride) and then me to the wedding venue. Her makeup person, Jamie, was also a true professional - patient, attentive and highly skilled. We couldn't have picked a better team - "Irresistible Mess" turned out to be irresistibly wonderful!I would highly recommend Tara to any bride who wants to shine on her special day. More...

I do not think I will ever have the words to describe how grateful I am for Tara and how perfect she made my special day. When I reflect back on my wedding, one of the first thoughts that comes to my head is how blown away I was with my decision to hire Tara
. The work she did with my hair and my bridesmaids' hair was absolutely amazing. I had a vision for what I wanted and she executed my vision flawlessly. I received more compliments on my hair than I can count.
In addition to her amazing hair magic, Tara is genuinely one of the kindest, most loving, and most fun people to be around. She feels like a ray of sunshine that illuminates every room she walks into. She goes above and beyond to make sure the getting ready process is stress-free for the bride. Without a single ounce of reservation, I would recommend Tara and her team to any bride. To put into perspective, I am a Los Angeles native whose wedding was in L.A., and despite being surrounded by tons of local hair professionals, I decided to hire Tara who is in located all the way down in San Diego. Tara and Jamie were the fantastic duo who helped me and my mom get ready for my recent wedding. We were running quite a bit behind (through no fault of theirs) and Tara was an absolutely life saver, going above and beyond to make sure all the little details were taken care of - steaming my mother’s dress, taking the dog out for a walk and making two separate trips to first drive me and then my mother to the wedding venue. This is all on top of the wonderful job Tara and Jamie did with our hair and makeup. I couldn’t have picked a better team to get me ready for my wedding. I've already deleted what I wrote twice because nothing seems to be good enough. Tara is not only talented at doing hair, but her as a person, let me tell you. ..100!!!!!! She is the sweetest, most excepting, calm, beautiful woman I have met in a long time! I am so lucky to have found her to do my hair on such a special day. Just being there calmed me (cuz I was emotional and exhausted), and she knew just the right things to say. This kind of personality ended up meaning more to me then how my hair turned out. Now, let's not forget about her team. She knows and works with some talented ladies. One of her girls named Gina did my makeup and was just as calming as she was.
