Sheryl Bleustein is such a superstar. We needed an entire interior design refresh for our condo and didn’t know where to begin. Sheryl intuitively and intelligently tapped right into our style aesthetic and designed the perfect space for us with colour palette, furniture, fabrics, lighting, window coverings etc. She pulls everything together so beautifully so that it all flows together to create an absolutely gorgeous and timeless space. Sheryl is extremely professional, cordial, an excellent communicator, very transparent, timely, talented, and experienced. RUN!!!! DO NOT DO BIZ WITH THIS DECEPTIVE CON WOMAN! I am gonna try to keep this short... but she ruined EVERYTHING for us! She claimed to have 39 staff members when its only her. She uses a bunch of basic/entry level contractors that lack creativity especially for our home plans.... they were HORRIBLE! She charged us 30k for her to sign on; on top on 30-40% markups across the board as she hid them in her estimates!!! Her estimates weren't itemized and she just slapped grand totals on them with no explanations nor estimates for work or materials. Just constant requests for hundreds of thousands of dollars. She OVERCHARGED for EVERYTHING & recommended that she work in secret and hide the job from the city. She totally skipped the permitting process. She gave us no picture or video renderings as discussed.... She stole someone else's design photos and told us they were hers. We saw them on google! She tried to give us cheap laminate cabinetry with sky high custom pricing (3-4x the price). She tried to sell us furniture from her friends store.. We picked 60k worth of things and she tried to charge us $13,000.00 for shipping... She said we had to pay the shipping cost from Italy... The furniture was already in the showroom & on U.S. SOIL!!! Then she got mad when we told her we didn't want it. As a 55-60 year old woman; she threw a whole tantrum... we were SHOCKED! Her contractors Damaged our driveway & hurricane sliders and didn't pay for it... It's been 6 months & no word. Did 50% of the demolition job that she charged 200% of the cost for! I have been meaning to leave this review for a while because we got scorched by this interior design/scam artist! LISTEN TO US CLOSELY: RUN!!!! We had to pay another $600,000 to the owner of the property because she didn't pull permits and he threatened to foreclose on us thanks to her. She claimed she could sweet talk him off the ledge with her meritless deceptive charm and he ended up hating her and she only frustrated him more. She ruined that relationship for us all. He threatened to call authorities on her for working without proper permits. Come to find out Her demo crew was not licensed nor insured. She started the demo before we had plans or permits to trap us. She kept trying to prematurely get us to buy cabinets, appliances & fixtures BEFORE we even had plans so she could make her markups on the items This woman is deceptive and conniving. Take our advice & run!!!!!! We ended up reading other peoples reviews of her only after getting ripped off! We lost an easy $400,000 to her and her horrible ripoff operation on top of having to pay the owner another $600k prematurely so he wouldn't foreclose out of frustration and disappointment due to her lack of permits, licensing and integrity.
