I've been wanting to install new hardwood floors for a couple years but was worried about finding a company I could trust and had experienced and professional installers. In addition, I did not use a professional decorator so was also concerned about my ability to pick out the appropriate material and color. This company was recommended to me by a former colleague who redecorates often so I had confidence that it was a company worth checking out.

Fred is nothing but a professional, very patient, helpful and knowledgeable; and very willing to work with me through the education, selection and installation process. Since I don't expect to redo my floors again anytime soon, I was very concerned that the installation was done well. They certainly exceeded my expectations. The installers started on the day we had planned, completed the demolition in one day, covered all the kitchen cabinets and items on the walls with plastic to avoid the dust. The installers stayed on the job until the floor was completed (2 days) but cleaned up at the end of each day. In addition, their attention to detail was superb. They finished on time and within quote. I'm very pleased with the results and would recommend the company highly. I chose Interiors & Textiles for my family room wall-wall wool carpet after doing my own research online, and after visiting multiple showrooms. Fred and his team are very knowledgeable and friendly, and helped me make an informed decision when choosing my carpet. I have worked with Fred from Interiors & Textiles a year ago on multi room installation of hunter Douglas shades - 15 in total. It started innocent enough, with me visiting few stores selling blinds in the area. Out of those Interiors & Textiles was a 3rd one. I'm picky, maybe a bit too much :) I like to check out the stuff I will be able to buy, compare, think things through - especially for something that expensive. I remember being pleasantly surprised by the service that Fred offered - he would answer my question, but wouldn't be pushy at all, which I liked.After some time (I think I visited twice before that happened), Fred come over on his day off (!) to do a walk through my house, do measurements - and show me catalog of blinds in person, that allowed me to compare colors to my walls etc.I still wasn't sure what I wanted and Fred agreed to leave catalog with me till the next day (I'm told this is not standard practice, so I'm very thankful :) ).Eventually I signed purchase order. Blinds came, installation happened. Unfortunately I made a mistake - what I thought was bottom-up blinds is really top-down, so 6 of them ended up being different then what I expected :(While I had to pay extra to get this fixed (it was my error after all), it was just a fraction of the cost of blinds and the whole process was painless.After few weeks of enjoying new blinds (I have them linked to Alex'a, so I can open them up when I wake up just by talking and close them when going to bed, pretty awesome), I have noticed one of them having tape where it shouldn't have been. After closer inspection it turned out 3 of my blinds had tape like that and one of them ended up being slightly damaged (tape stuck to the blind, pulling some material off with it).To my surprise all 3 of them were replaced at no cost to me - while only one was damaged and only slightly!Hope this review helps others. I am happy to highly recommend Interiors & Textiles for helping me with two very difficult problems.
The first was a couple of overhead skylight shades that had delimitated. After many calls to Hunter Douglas, the service company they recommended, and the original installer, I had gotten nowhere. Because they were close by, I called Interiors and Textiles and connected with Fred. Not only did Fred listen to my problem, he proposed a solution and followed through with with timely emails to the and Hunter Douglas. In the end, I got new skylight shades under warranty, thanks to Fred's help. I only paid to remove the old ones and install the new ones.
My second problem was with a hardwood floor that had become so badly damaged by a leaking ice maker in the kitchen that I was tripping on the warped boards. That particular flooring was no longer manufactured, so trying to do repairs with the couple pieces that I had saved from the original installation was problematic.
The original company that installed it wanted nothing to do with it. Another company said the entire floor (Kitchen, dining room, living room) would have to be taken up and redone, at great expense. However, Fred's floor technician said he could repair it with my small amount of existing material. This involved carefully removing custom cabinet baseboards, then integrating the new flooring into the existing damaged floor, preserving as much of the good pieces as possible. Excellent customer service and attention to details. Mr. Fred Yee of Interiors $ Textiles has done a great job talking with us in his display shop and then coming to our home to consult with us on what we had selected making some suggestions for us to consider. His measurements were correct and we are well pleased with the results. He also did a follow-up after installation to make sure we programmed the blinds correctly and were satisfied. I've been putting off replacing living room carpet and kitchen flooring thinking it would be a time-consuming annoying project. My interior designer (Margo Deane) took me by the hand to Fred Wee and Interiors and Textiles and my worries evaporated. Fred has nearly every choice of materials you'd ever need, but he knows how to direct the customer to what they need. He sent me home with samples, choices (Marmoleum/kitchen, low pile Stainmaster carpet) were made to great satisfaction. The instillation was painless, his workers, Myron and Caleb, are talented pros. They leave everything spotless at job end (they even cleaned the back of the refrigerator!) You cannot see any seams. It was a faultless instillation and beautiful result. Fred Wee really went out of his way to help us out installing new Hunter Douglas motorized honeycomb shades in three different bedrooms, to replace old ones. We had obtained a first quote by another reseller/store but the representative wasn't familiar with the inner workings of the PowerView product, Hunter Douglas' connected home product, which we wanted. Fred's cost was very close to that other store and he was a lot more helpful with PowerView, which can get complex to set up. Speaking of this, we particularly liked the fact Free showed up in person during the installation of our shades. It was reassuring to have the owner on-site so he could ensure installation was top-notch. He also spent a lot of time explaining how PowerView worked, and set it up for us. We had an issue with a shade power cord that was too short but Fred had it shipped directly to us no questions asked, as well as an additional remote we decided to get at the last minute. Overall we had a great experience with Interior & Textiles and we feel confident they'll have our back if something goes wrong with our shades in the future, as Fred was always super responsive via email or phone. To put it simply, Fred and his team offer the best customer service. In my home improvement project, I've run into numerous headaches with other unreliable vendors. But my experience with Interiors & Textiles has been top notch. The folks there are professional, knowledgeable, and patient. Fred responds immediately to my emails and texts even during non-business hours. The installers were courteous and respectful of my house, cleaning up thoroughly after job was done.

It wasn't all smooth sailing. I had a few defective shades. But Fred made sure the manufacturer replaced them. Even a large shade that was functionally fine, but had a relatively minor cosmetic defect, Fred had replaced at no cost to me. During the whole process, I always felt that the I&T team was on my side, committed to making sure I got the result I wanted.

I can't say enough great things about Interiors & Textiles. I had quotes from three local (Palo Alto) window covering companies and hands down Fred Wee was the most knowledgeable, responsive, and professional vendor I have ever had the great pleasure to engage.
Fred was always prompt and gave excellent advice and guidance regarding which coverings would work best for an expansive set of 18 windows in a massive gathering space for our school. We went with double roller shades and they are absolutely perfect for the space – quality product, quality service, quality installation, quality follow-through and competitive pricing!

Fred at Interiors and Textiles was a bright light along my walk in downsizing and moving. Products and costs were not meeting my expectation from other sources I had been referred to and I HAD A DEADLINE and a BUDGET!
Fred's help in finding the "perfect" floor material with a reasonable quote and some new ideas delighted me right from the beginning. He could work within my short deadline too.
Communication was easy with his returns of texts or email..even phone calls...no wonder I wish there were one more task to do in my new home where I could call Fred.....maybe there will be!

I contacted Interiors & Textiles because I had a good experience with choosing and installing carpet and blinds several years ago as part of a larger remodel. This time I wanted to replace my flooring and wanted a showroom where I could see the floors and have them installed. I had a terrific experience with Fred Wee, the owner, as well as the flooring crew he had install my floors. Fred was super responsive, texting me updates and getting me a bid very quickly. The floors arrived within a week and were installed within just a few weeks - incredible - with no corners cut. Fred suggested new baseboards and even sourced them for me. The crew did an incredibly professional job putting in our Du Chateau floors and leaving a clean space behind, and also getting creative to match our new baseboards to existing trim. I needed to replace my two Hunter Douglas bedroom drapes after about 12 years. The first quote seemed high to me so I went to Fred for a second quote. He recommended a horizontal style of drapes for the smaller second window which ended up saving me about $400 and frankly look better than the vertical blinds the first store recommended. Now that both drapes are installed I am very happy. H&D makes great but pricey drapes. Installation only took about 1 hour.

Fred and his team did a superb job on our carpet installation at our condominium in San Francisco. Fred worked with me to come up with the best carpet given our budget, etc. , and then was able to schedule the installation soon thereafter. His installation team did a great job on the finished product. There were some "ramping" issues transitioning from some tile and hardwood to the carpet, and they did a great job developing practical solutions. Last year, we were refreshing a couple of bedrooms after our now young adult kids moved out (for the last time, we hope ;-) and were looking for window shades as well as a new carpet for one of the rooms . Fred Wee at I&T was very helpful and we chose beautiful Hunter Douglas Silhouettes and Duettes for the windows. They are not inexpensive, but Fred was sensitive to this and helped us with rebates. He also let us know there was a soon-to expire special sale on the cordless options and fast-tracked our order so we could take full advantage of it. He also helped us select a lovely Karastan carpet, also helping us with a sale. We were and still are delighted with the results.
Fred's advice was spot on, he was timely and professional in his communications, flexible and accomodating around scheduling and his crews did a great job with the installations.

I purchased six Hunter Douglas window treatments from Interiors and Textiles. Their designer, Shari, is extremely knowledgeable and provided excellent expertise in ensuring the right materials and shade types were selected for my home. This included an in-home consultation, which was quite helpful in getting her eye on my furnishings and color scheme.

I'm giving four stars instead of five as it required significant follow-up to schedule installation. Part of this is due to the products being custom made, but even after this was confirmed it was still a challenge to get on calendar. This won't be an issue if you're not in a rush. Also their assistant was a bit curt. I think bolstering their administrative team could help with all of this, but altogether the expertise and products offered by this establishment are great. Recently purchased carpet from Home Depot, but their installer did not have the skills or knowledge to complete an eight foot carpet edge transition onto tile flooring and left with this part of the job unfinished. After no resolution from Home Depot, I spoke with Fred Wee of Interiors & Textiles Corp.
I am very pleased with the work the installer from Interiors & Textiles did finishing the work that Home Depot left unfinished.

When I was looking for real cork flooring, I had a vague idea of what I was looking for. I googled cork which said I could find it at Interior and Textiles (and, bonus, they weren't very far from my home). I went in and Fred Wee helped me check out their collection. Turns out we were active in the same professional organization, ASID, as well, so that was serendipity. Anyway, I had seen at another store cork that looked more like "planks", and it took a while to figure out I didn't really want it to look like wood (they have that, too), but we found these panels with little planks and it was a nice, neutral tone. The price was much higher than I had anticipated, as my last quote was from Lowes. The cork itself didn't come for about a month, which was a long time of anticipation. The installers came about an hour late, but it was a team of two, who did a nice, thorough job in half a day, including the baseboards! Fred came by to see how it was coming along, which I thought was considerate. We both thought it was looking very nice. Overall, I am happy with how responsive and easy to work with Interiors and Textiles is. My interior designer sent me here for my most recent project. It is my newest "best-find, resource" for a great selection of designer products and services. My creative juices began to flow when I realized I could find so many high quality products in this one center, from flooring to window coverings. If you can't find it, designers are knowledgeable, resourceful, professional, and friendly. I could find what I needed to fit my budget and could discuss pricing openly without pressure to buy up. This is not one of those high pressure intimidating design centers. Customer service and satisfaction are clearly a priority. Their product knowledge was more than helpful to make the right decisions. I have referred two other friends to them, who also walked away very happy with their experience.
My most recent purchase was Hunter Douglas window coverings, and shutters. Fred Wee was very knowledgeable about all their brands, the trade-offs, and durability, and the pluses and minuses of their practical applications. They have gone out of their way to help us with a custom shutter for our sliding glass door, which had been a problem.
I am also very impressed with the two installers that worked with us. Even though they were busy, they got to us quickly, and in the time frame promised. We did not wait months for our products. We had a very nice experience at Interiors and Textiles. We were interested in carpeting and window treatments and they have a very nice selection. Pricing was also competitive. However, for my wife and me, the biggest asset was Shari Schoenecker. She is an Interior Designer on staff at Interior and Textiles. She was extremely helpful in guiding us to our final decisions. While tactical and respectful of our tastes, she was open and honest in her opinions. She came to the house several times and followed up to make sure that the installations were properly completed.

Interiors & Textiles Corp. came to our rescue when no one else would take on the job of re-installing our new Hunter Douglas shades following a HAZMAT cleanup in our sun room. Their installer did a terrific job putting the window coverings together and getting them in the correct windows, even seven electric skylight shades. This job had turned into a nine-month nightmare due to shoddy work of a competitor before Interiors & Textiles Corp. made it possible to use our sun room again. We have returned to Interiors & Textiles with an additional job to upgrade the floors in our house and know a professional job will be accomplished. Their ethics and professionalism are unrivaled in the industry today. We wish our house were bigger to allow us to use them again and again! Great work and wonderful products. I am an assistant for a wonderful family who live in the SF Bay Area, who also happen to have the worst luck. They experienced water damage to their basement 18 months after finishing a remodel of the same space for a similar issue. Luckily I had heard of Interiors & Textiles when the owner, Fred Wee, visited my design school as a guest speaker. I was struck by his vast knowledge of flooring, so when it came time to replace the damaged flooring at my work, I knew just who to call. Fred was soo helpful yet again with his knowledge and his beautiful showroom had a great selection for me to pick from. He was easy to get in touch with via phone, email, and text. He also was able to easily schedule our carpeting to be installed the day after it had arrived. The installer was very respectful, quiet, and did installed the carpet better than the previous installation. In my case, Interior Textiles had to research their provider to find out if what I had and wanted was still in stock.
