Theta Float Spa is magical! From the moment you step foot in this space you start to relax. Caitlyn, the owner, is one of the best body work specialists on the Monterey Peninsula (and the best I have every experienced in years anywhere! ). She has the ability to zero in on exactly the spots that need the most attention. I try to visit Caitlyn whenever I am in town. In terms of the float spa, Theta is top notch! Caitlyn has really outdone herself in creating the healing space. I so appreciate that the pools are not "pods" so you don't ever experience the sense of being closed in or trapped. Thank goodness! The float experience is incredibly therapeutic and I can't wait to have my next session. The facility is clean, clean, clean with a lovely ambiance too. Caitlyn has thought of every detail! Due to the horrible smoke in SF we had to escape to Monterey area for cleaner air. The trip was sudden and during one of my busiest, most stressful times at work. Unfortunately, I could not relax despite being in a beautiful area with my loving family. That is until I experienced my first float. WOW. Finally, the stress left my body and I could be present with my loved ones. I am so impressed by the facility. I was greeted by the incredibly kind and warm owners. The spa is spotless, warm, and inviting. The actual float pool was much bigger than I expected and allowed for freedom of movement. The salt water cradled my body in the most custom way making my body feel supported yet weightless.It was a wonderful experience and I can't recommend it enough. My wife and I have gotten several one-on-one massages with Cait and we have both participated in her Group Rossiter Sessions. Every experience with her has been fantastic. She talks through what she is doing and why she is doing it, so that you learn alot about your own body. In the group sessions we learned how to perform maintenance on each other, making TV time at home much more rewarding. We highly recommend her! More...

First, I can't say enough great things about her! This lady has magic fingers. When I arrived at her place it was cozy and soothing, just what you would want for a massage. She also took one look at me and could immediately tell by how I was standing some of my issues and after the massage noted locations I have had previous injuries at without me telling her. She is phenomenal for athletes and uses a variety of techniques that really helps release knots and those angry muscles relax. I will definitely be going back and sending my husband.
