What’s your interior design process?
Inspired Home’s first step is to help our clients use what they already own and edit what is no longer necessary to transform their house into a Home.
The second step is to to see what is necessary to purchase, perhaps it’s just to freshen up their home with pops of colors, that new pillows and paint can provide.
An Inspired Home is not just made up of pretty things but rather items that have meaning and purpose and are intentionally displayed.
The Inspired Home method is about creating simple, clean spaces using well-loved and new pieces to cultivate an environment where your family can thrive and experience comfort.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
Styles include but not limited to: Farmhouse, Shabby Chic, Boho, Modern, Traditional & Classic.
What do you love most about your job?
I love helping clients thrive in their home, from creating an aesthetically pleasing environment, to implementing systems that are custom tailored to every individual's needs and lifestyle.
What inspired you to start your own business?
It all began with my dorm closet at Cal Poly SLO University, my clothes were organized by category, color and neatly hung on pink hangers from Contempo Casuals (remember those days?) From there, I started helping girlfriends re-do their own closets which in turn, grew into transforming their houses to Homes.
I officially started Inspired Home while living in Nashville nearly 11 years ago.
