Pulled into the parking lot at a couple minutes after 4:00 and saw that they were closing early this Saturday. We had just left the annual Llano Crawfish Festival and we're looking for some different cuisine. The cashier was very nice and stated we could eat inside or take out a couple of plates. We decided on to go plates (because these hard working people have lives too). We got 1/2 lbs of brisket, some sausage, potato salad, coleslaw, and a last minute addition of a slice of longhorn cheddar cheese. They had the regular onions, pickles, and bread. The bread was homemade and it was really good. I had wanted some turkey but they were sold out already. I also got an unsweetened tea and it was good and strong; very excellent. Our food was ready very quickly. We took it back to the house we were renting and the brisket was very good. My husband didn't really like the sausage (their sign says home of the turkey sausage) I guess he didn't read that very well, but I loved it. The potato salad was better than most BBQ places I've tried and the coleslaw was fresh and tasty. The longhorn cheddar was amazing also. Top of the line service, had them cater our wedding out in Fredrickberg. The food was absolutely phenomenal thank you Grant for adding some delicious food to our wonderful evening!

Highly recommend EVERYTHING! The Turkey sausage was phenomenal. The staff was super friendly and extremely helpful! The restaurant is clean and well stocked. We drove 3 hours to eat here and will do it all over again! DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT TRYING THE PEACH PIE!!!!l More...
