So, imagine this... Several years ago: I started working with a small SEO company in Texas. They ripped my wallet apart, and provided nothing in return. I had no written letter of agreement or contract as to what would be returned, so I was crud out of luck. Learning experience.However... I was still a newbie when it came to digital marketing, and I found another company, this time based out of Nevada. Also, much larger company, much better "guarantees"... Still, keep in mind I had no experience here. They guaranteed 1st page rankings in just 30 days or my money back. I took the bait. They then pulled the line back, snapping the bait out of my mouth after I bit on, taking my money, and the website shut down. Yes, the website shut down, no way to contact them.
