This place is a hidden gem! We tried it because of the high Yelp ratings and we were not disappointed. There are two areas to sit: a typical restaurant-type seating area right as you walk in the front doors, and a bar area in the back. They also have flowers and local artwork for sale out in front.We ended up in the bar area and it was very nice. It had the feel of an upscale restaurant as opposed to a typical bar. I'm a seafood guy, so I tried the halibut. It was great; I'd definitely order it again. Although next time I visit, I'll probably try the Cuban sandwich that looked and sounded really good. My wife had the steak, which was a top sirloin. She enjoyed it. They have Happy Hour specials on appetizers, so In the Weeds is a good "after work" option. In the Weeds is great. Everything about this place is awesome. They have a really cute patio. It's on a deck in the back (you would never know how big this place actually is) and it's very peaceful. The inside restaurant is literally like eating in a garden. The decor is incredible! Greenery everywhere, a bar in the back and lots of cozy tables.The service is quite good. Our servers were friendly, attentive and our food all came out correct. The food is excellent! They also have gluten free options (call ahead to make sure they aren't sold out). We have heard about this place, so we went for Sunday Brunch. First of all, this is an unusual concept--florist and restaurant; and it seems to be working. The food was very good. Loved the candied bacon! And the cocktail and wine list is very extensive. I would have easily given a 4-star review, but our server, Brittany, put it over the top. We stumbled upon this on a whim and we're very, very impressed. The drink menu was very extensive and delicious. The spin dip was great and the tacos were very tasty and simply done. We hired Jordan to do the flowers for our wedding, which included my bouquet, 3 boutonnières, 2 corsages, 25 centerpieces and 2 large arrangements for the arbor. She completely matched our vision and we couldn't have been happier with her work! Everything held up well all day at our outdoor wedding, even with the wind.We reached out to Jordan kind of late in the planning process, but she was able to pull everything together. I almost want to keep this place to myself.  My girlfriend used to live in North Royalton, and while it's a nice enough little town, there was NOWHERE to go for dinner or drinks.  In the Weeds answers the call.  My mom was in town visiting from Denver and I wanted to take her some place new.  I found In the Weeds on yelp and figured I would give it a try.  Nothing ventured...I made reservations for 6:30 on a Thursday night (I think it was a Thursday).  Our table was ready on arrival.  We were seated at a high top in the back by the bar.  I thought that was a little strange.  Having reservations I figured that we'd be seated at a table, but that was neither here nor there.  The high top was fine.  We started with a bottle of wine and Burrata.  Both were excellent.  For mains they have a limited menu, including a couple sandwiches, a pasta dish, and a dish for every protein (i.e. chicken, pork, steak, fish).  This is a positive thing.  I found that In the Weeds focuses their attention to a few dishes, but they do them all very well.  I recall asking our server if she would recommend the pork special. I wanted to hear from her what she thought. She was quick in response and told me that it was excellent. I reconfirmed making sure I wasn't going to be getting some thin, dried out piece of "shoe leather," and she assured me that I would not be. She was right. It was delicious. We finished our evening with a slice of chocolate torte. Divine! In the Weeds was far beyond that which I expected. This is a true hidden gem, worthy of 5-stars. More...

What a beautiful place! I sat at the bar and enjoyed two cocktails and dinner. Brittany was friendly and gave me wonderful recommendations for dinner and drinks. Loved the Hummus Board, which was like a vegan version of the Meat and Cheese board. The key lime pie was sweet, sour and perfect. Live music on a Monday evening, what a treat! And the duo who performs - Company Housing - is really good. The singer has a really good voice. Outdoor deck also very nice.Anyway, food and craft cocktails remain high quality and the music and being open on a Monday make this a great option out, worth a drive over. My husband and I visited yesterday around 5:30pm  (Memorial Day)  and sat in the back bar area. Such a nice surprise to see that they had a Happy Hour until 6 that they were still honoring (knowing most establishments don't do that on holidays) as well as live music- The Piano Man- who was GREAT! We tried several of their craft cocktails and they were all FANTASTIC and uniquely prepared. For food, we had the calamari, the meat and cheese board, and the Cuban sandwich. Every single plate was DELICIOUS!! The calamari was fresh, light and crispy (our server, Claudia told us they use a light rice flour coating). The cheese on the board is from Marchant Manor in Cleveland Heights (AMAZING), and the Cuban was one of the best we've ever had- tender pork and ham, toasty good bread, and just the right amount of zesty pickles and mustard.Jordan, the owner, stopped at our table to check on us. She is an absolute delight who is giving it her all, and we can see the true gem she is creating in North Royalton. The flower shop component added to the dining experience is unique and we plan to make 'In the Weeds' a regular stop! More...

Jordan and her staff made my milestone birthday the best ever! Those memories are ones I will cherish for the rest of my life, and In the Weeds was an integral part of that. It was so fun, and everyone just raved about the location as well as the food; there were even gorgeous, bespoke flower arrangements for my guests to take home. They even let us have a drag show in the lounge area and it worked out perfectly! ALL In the Weeds staff couldn't have been nicer, more talented, or more professional--and Jordan, personally, was an absolute joy to work with. Thank you SO, SO MUCH for working with us (multiple us-es over email and in person!) months in advance, I can't even begin to tell you how grateful and appreciative I am. First of all the environment was very cool and we talked to a number of staff from our waitress to the bartender who were all very nice and helpful. The drinks were creative and delicious using a number of liquors. The draft list was limited but had great options that we would have tried if the cocktail menu wasn't so appealing. My wife and I were looking for a new and interesting place to dine this past Saturday evening  (4/9) and searching the different surrounding areas on Yelp's map and In The Weeds piqued our interest. We decided to go and that turned out to be a fantastic decision! We did not have reservations, and I that would be advised.  The owner, Jordan, happened to be at the hostess stand and was able to get us seated at a table in the bar area towards the read of the restaurant. To be honest that is our usual preference as it is usually a more lively area. There also is a nice view out the windows in the back, and once the patio opens it will be a great location.  Together we had soup du jour & salad, gnocchi and steak entrees with key lime pie for dessert. Everything was done to perfection! Our server, Brittney, was very attentive, without being overbearing, knowing just when to stop by so you're not trying to do sign language with a mouthful of food!  As we were leaving we chatted with Jordan for a few minutes commenting on how absolutely enjoyable our experience was, and to count on our return and spreading the word!  As a side note, the ambiance is really nice! If from the online descriptions of the place make you think you'll be sitting in a area with an overabundance of flowers and the accompanying aromas, you'll be sorely disappointed. Wanted to love this place. I just ordered poorly. Soup of the day was potato and desperately needed salt. Falafel was the worst I've ever had and I've been all over the country literally eating falafel. My dinner mates though really loved their meals so stick to the pasta or salads.
