I just recently moved to Michigan to open up my first business. As a new business owner I was pretty overwhelmed with setting everything up, paying all the rental/ utility bills, insurance, HVAC inspections, searching for a new vehicle, going to the DMV etc, etc ad infinitum! On top of all this - many obscure and foreboding tax documents were matriculating in my new mailbox. One morning - still in a malaise from the previous days banal errands I made a half hearted search for CPA’s in my area (to help me with those terrifying tax forms) . I clicked at random on one of the many CPA’s in my area and called the number in a funk. Almost as soon as the phone was answered however - I somehow knew immediately that I had gotten lucky, and with my random call - struck gold! A calm and confident voice answered the phone - it belonged to Al Makki. Meeting with Al in person more than confirmed my positive intuition as he clearly answered my questions, and explained and filed the documents promptly - his straightforward manner and professionalism relieving my anxiety.
