Just got the MARGHERITA wrap, and this thing is huge and did not disappoint. Enough for two or two meals. Also got the Truffle Fries, and they are amazing as well, and again, enough for two! ! The Spicy Garlic Aioli sauce is fabulous! Please do yourself a favor and stop at this truck if you are ever near it! The wrap wasn't heavy like some flatbread wraps can be, so you don't feel over stuffed (I didn't eat my whole wrap, lunch for tomorrow) and all of the ingredients were very fresh & light. This place is bomb AF. We hit this place any chance we get. Their wraps are made fresh. The cheese is still gooey and strings out when you take a bite. FIRST TIMER: Ladies and Gentleman, this is amazing. I cannot explain to you what a wholesome experience this was for me. Foodies, take your hat off; New comers, get in line. I came, I saw, I conquered. Top notch quality, Savory flavors, and Amazing service. I see this food truck outside the Witches Hat in South Lyon for ages now, always saw a line and it's been pestering me to check this place out. Finally got a short day of work and zipped right over. I got the Meatball wrap and to be honest, didn't have any expectations because this is a first time for me ever buying from a food truck. I was greeted by a kind gentleman; ordered my food and was told there would be a 15 minute wait as they were training a new guy. Didn't think much of it, had time to kill so I was in no rush. Pretty much on the dot, had my name called and got my food. Was told to start from the top down as that's the way they set up and provide their wraps. Good experience so far and a friendly tip to boot. Got in my truck and had two bites and Holy Mother of God was this thing amazing. Cheese is gooey, meatballs tender and flavorful, marinara sauce a trip to flavor town, and it's to go! Definitely worth the wait, saw the other reviews and they were appraising this Restaraunt on wheels as much as I am. So glad I tried this place out. 11/10 would recommend anybody to get food here. Fantastic! The Hawai-Lian is incredible. The parmesan truffle fries are some of the best I’ve ever had; served with a spicy mayo of some sort. The meatball is �. The cannoli is always touch and go for me because I always find them too sweet but this one was perfect! Joe was awesome and so motivated. Very passionate about what he does. This is my favorite food truck that I've encountered so far in the Detroit area. I am vegetarian and they have a few options. I've had both of the vegetarian sandwiches and I can't pick a favorite. They're both super delicious and fresh. I love the bread that it's wrapped in and the fact they make their own ricotta and mozzarella (!!!). So, first thing you gotta know is, food trucks are awesome. I've eaten at a number of them, and haven't had a bad experience yet. I think there's a deep passion to make good food from the proprietors of food trucks. It's more challenging than a brick and mortar establishment.And Impasto is a cut above them all.First, their food. They're Italian inspired wraps, using a grilled flatbread. This gives the flatbread a crispness you don't normally get otherwise. The wraps themselves are a good 8" long, and 3" in diameter. In other words. HUUUUUUUUUGE. Small eaters will have leftovers, and big eaters will be satisfied and then some. Quality of the food is top notch; all fresh ingredients, and a good variety of wraps. They also have Parmesan garlic fries and these cheese and rice balls, like hush puppies but way better. Every wrap is stuffed like a build-a-bear. And it's all SO GOOD. SO SO SO SO SO GOOD.Since it's all made to order, expect a bit of a wait. But this is food you don't mind waiting for. Trust me on this. It's a little more expensive than an value meal at the burger joints, but you pay for quality, yo.Gotta mention service. The guy at the register is really nice. I had an issue on my second visit about getting onions held (I asked, it got missed). Next time, I mention to him to remind the kitchen to hold the onions (I'm allergic). He not only guarantees it'll be made right, he doesn't charge me for the wrap! I wasn't expecting that.
